It started well last night, with Basel-St Etienne BTTS landing quickly @ 1/1, Lazio-Galatasaray BTTS landing inside 20 minutes – so one more goal in the latter game would have finally given me a decent winner. It ended 1-1. In the other preview games, Man Utd had a stinker, Napoli dominated but lost late on and Liverpool-Augsburg was a snooze-fest. Like mentioned, hard to predict but when you get it just right it’s incredible!
Onto Friday – and a double I thought wouldn’t be anywhere near the prices the two games are!
Bologna vs Juventus: Juventus -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 11/10 (1930 KO, Serie A)
This bet, in my mind – should be around 8/11. Juventus are on a 15 games winning streak, and their record against Bologna is excellent, usually winning 2-0. If they finally lose/draw – it shall confirm that I am finally facing the consequences of having a black cat for over 15 years (the whole bad luck thing).
Partick vs Aberdeen: Aberdeen Win @ 1/1 (1945 KO, SPL) – ABANDONED
This is another I thought would be a little lower than it is. Partick are poor at home, while Aberdeen are very good away. 4 wins in their last 5, and 8 wins in 13 this season. They have also defeated Partick 2-0 in their last two away games. Adam Rooney is particular value on the goalscorer front @ 5/4. Rooney A/T + Win is also a nice price on William Hill @ 3/1.
Konyaspor vs Sivasspor: Konyaspor Win @ 6/5 (Turkish Super Lig, 1800 KO)
With the above game abandoned – this game is the next best. Konyaspor have won 9 of their last 10 home games, while Sivasspor have lost 7 of their last 10 away.
Later on today we shall have an FA Cup Preview for the weekend, while Kieron’s BTTS tips will also be live.
There are a couple of very tempting games in the lesser known European leagues, but as it is the first couple of games since the return from their winter break I’m leaving well alone. Astra @ 7/5 vs Botosani one to mention though – excellent value!
Best of luck
