A good start to the week – Dijon won 3-0 meaning the win to nil bet won @ 13/10, while in the early hours in Peru, Melgar vs Garcilaso ended 3-1 with Over 2.5 Goals winning @ 1/1 for a 4/1 winner!
An accumulator was posted last night for the next two days (22/1 and 35/1 options) so this is just a couple of good value picks for today which forms a 5/1 double:
Newcastle vs Man City: Man City -1 Goal Handicap @ 11/8 (Premier League, 1945 KO – NAP)
As mentioned in the accumulators piece last night – City, even a half decent one – could tear Newcastle apart. The Magpies won on the weekend, so have a little confidence, but with a back four containing inexperienced players and frankly a couple of Championship standard ones – I can only see a City win by 2-3 goals especially with Aguero and De Bruyne firing. Benitez has Newcastle playing a lot better than under McClaren, but nowhere near good enough to stop a City side looking to cement 3rd spot.
Como vs Cagliari: Cagliari -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 6/4 (Italian Serie B, 1930 KO)
Again, going on from what was said in the midweek acca article posted last night – 22nd vs 2nd – a battle of a team going for promotion against a team pretty much doomed to the Lega Pro divisions. Cagliari have much the better side and a few dangerous strikers like Marco Sau (7 goals) – but the amazing thing is they have 4-5 players with a lot of goals. Melchiorri, Giannetti (8 goals each) and the dangerous duo of Diego Farias (13 goals, 10 assists) and Joao Pedro (11 goals). They are questionable at the back, but it’s one of those games they could easily win 4-0.
The Asian Handicap is a great bet for me, as at worst they should win by a goal, which would give a void. However I believe they will win by more, and at 6/4 it’s a great price!
No South American tips have been sent in yet, hence why it’s just two selections from myself for tonight.
Best of luck
