Not the greatest of returns last night – Reims lost their first home game of the season to the lowest scoring side in the league, which was pretty gobsmacking. Verona then somehow lost 4-1 to Cittadella – by far their worst performance this season.
So – we managed to pick two stinkers, who in all probability would win said games 95 times out of 100. Today myself and Kieron have teamed up again to bring you a four-fold full of value!
QPR vs Norwich: Norwich Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 6/5 (Championship, 1500 KO)
Norwich are 5th in the league – strength and performance wise they should definitely be challenging Newcastle for the title and are the second highest scorers in the League with 28 goals. Where Norwich struggle is defensively – they leak too many goals, conceding 27 and have the second worst defensive record. They face a 17th placed QPR who have conceded 22 goals in sixteen matches, with just three clean sheets – two of which came very early on in the season. In 11 of Norwich’s 16 matches they have managed to score 2+ Goals.
Scunthorpe vs Oldham: Scunthorpe -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 6/5 League One, 1500 KO)
Scunthorpe are League One leaders, and by some way. They’re five points clear of second placed Bradford, taking 37 from a possible 51. Oldham are almost the complete opposite, placed 22 with only 16 points. Oldham have by some way the worst goal scoring form with only nine goals in 17 matches and although their goals-for tally is pitiful they do have a decent defensive record having conceded only 18 goals. Scunthorpe, as well as the league – lead the way in terms of goals for having already grabbed themselves an impressive 37 goals. Oldham threw up a shock 2-0 victory at home in this fixture in October but I think a shock was all it was. At home Scunthorpe should be far too much for the visitors, and a two goal margin would be anything but surprising.
Morton vs Dundee Utd: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 6/5 (Scottish Champ, 1500 KO)
Two of the leagues top sides, in terms of position and form. Both are scoring freely, whilst also conceding enough for this tip to merit being in for today. They’ve already met twice this season, both winning a game apiece 2-1.
Crystal Palace vs Man City: Man City -1 Goal Handicap @ 11/10 (Premier League, 1500 KO)
City look somewhat much better, and with an international break Pep will have had time to take a look at what has been going wrong. Aguero and KdB fully fit – against a weak Palace side – I think they will score 2-4 goals and really put Pardew under increasing pressure yet again.
This pays around 20/1 with Bet365, while others pay a similar amount. Some of the bigger paying sites (newer/less known) do not have the asian markets, so if you went with a straight -1 on Scunthorpe you are nearly doubling this as it’s around 2/1.
Best of luck!
