With a sub-evens 6-fold BTTS accumulator and a 175/1 goalscorers accumulator posted, this is our ‘middle of the range’ value accumulator for today. Four games, all around the 1/1-6/4 price that will form a nicely priced medium risk bet.
Two picks from Will, two from Kieron – a mix of English leagues and those abroad:
Bournemouth vs Spurs: Spurs -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 8/5 (1230 KO, Premier League)
Tottenham are the only unbeaten team left in the premier league and we’ll be keen to re apply pressure to Arsenal and Man City after a disappointing draw with West Brom last week. Bournemouth have found a little bit of form taking seven points from their last three matches, Bournemouth score goals but have a habit of conceding them too with 12 For and 12 Against. Tottenham hold the best defensive record with only four goals against so a clean sheet here would be unsurprising. The only two times the teams have met Spurs have won 3-0 and 5-1.
Aston Villa vs Fulham: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 23/30 (15:00 KO, Championship)
Aston Villa have had a shocking start to the season, as a newly relegated side they would have been expected to be a serious force in the Championship but currently sit 18th with only two wins to their name. Fulham sit 11th with four wins, they have had a huge six draws in their opening 13 games. Fulham have returned a decent 16 goals so far but have conceded 17, Aston Villa have scored 13 and conceded 14. Eight of Aston Villa’s matches have ended BTTS four of which were over 2.5 Goals whilst Fulham have had eight BTTS and six over 2.5
Lugano vs Basel: Basel -1 Asian Handicap @ 21/20 (Swiss Super League, 1900 KO)
Basel sit at the head of the Swiss league, with 10 wins from 11 games and have rarely looked even slightly threatened. A tonne of goals, very few conceded and mostly easy handicap winners. Lugano on the other hand have had a half decent season, but against a class Basel side should be beaten. I’d go for a regular handicap, but given the safety associated with an Asian handicap, and the value here – it’s the better option. If you cannot get the Asian handicap, the regular one is fine and at a better price of 11/8, but without the void safety net of a 1 goal win.
Verona vs Pro Vercelli: Verona -1 Goal Handicap @ 1/1 (Italian Serie B, 1400 KO)
Verona, much like most expected – are storming Serie B – scoring a tonne of goals and hammering opponents. They face Pro Vercelli who are a mid-table side, who do not fare well away from home, with 2 draws and 2 losses from four games. At home, Verona have scored at least 2 goals per game, and have 11 from their 4 so far. 1/3 on to win – the handicap is around the 1/1 mark, just below with some but I found them @ 1/1 with Coral which is a fantastic price!
Double: Basel -1 Asian Handicap @ 21/20 + Verona -1 Handicap @ 1/1 – 3.2/1
Acca: All Four @ 21.5/1
