A very good day yesterday – with 3 winning tips from 4. Grimsby-Eastleigh was the game to be the letdown, and having seen the stats I’m quite annoyed BTTS + Over 2.5 did not land! Today the markets are spread a little – again Bet365 is where the prices are from but baring corner markets most tips are readily available all over the shop.
1. Copenhagen vs Viborg: Copenhagen -1 Goal Handicap @ 6/5 (Danish Superliga, 1500 KO – NAP)
Copenhagen are one of the best sides in this league at home – winning pretty much all their games so far this season when in Copenhagen! They have won 6 and drawn 2 of 8 home games, winning four of the six with a one goal handicap, while Viborg have lost 4 of 7 away games. The previous meeting ended 1-0 to Copenhagen, but they really dominated the game and should have won by a couple more – and this time they are in form, with 6 wins in a row at home. Since Viborg were promoted in 2013, the four results have been 4-1, 4-1, 2-0 and 1-0 in favour of Copenhagen, and in their current hot streak at home I really fancy them to put Viborg to the sword!
2. Fiorentina vs Empoli: Fiorentina Race to 7 Corners @ 1/1 (Serie A, 1400 KO)
In Fiorentina’s last 5 home games this season – they have had the following scores on corners: 8-1, 8-1, 12-2, 8-4, 6-0. In last season’s home meeting against Empoli, they won 11-4 on that occasion. Empoli have a funny knack of really frustrating the bigger teams, and even at 1/2 for the win, and 6/5 for a -1 handicap in their form – especially the first game back after the international period – if this were the 2nd game back, -1 would be backed! With 5 wins from 6 at home, I still expect them to dominate this game both goal and corner wise, but on the goal front I simply can’t trust an Italian team. If you don’t fancy this corner bet, go with the handicap.
3. Targu Mures-Viitorul Constanta: BTTS @ 1/1 (Romanian Liga, 1600 KO)
Romania has a reputation of being a fairly boring league – and in many ways it is. But a few teams are quite entertaining! Targu nearly won the league last season, while Viitorul are on course to go close in this campaign. Targu Mures’ last 5 games league games have all been BTTS, while the last four in a row for Viitorul have – while the latter are in very good form as well, scoring in most away games while also conceding a few. They have been a good side for this bet, this season – and once again crop up at odds of 1/1
4. St Gallen vs Basel: Basel Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 8/11 (Swiss Super League, 1245 KO)
Again, big trust issues with Basel – the last few times we have backed them to win in any way they have drawn or lost! However, one consistency is they always score a couple of goals! In their 7 away league ties this season, they have scored 2+ in all 7, while scoring 2+ in their last four meetings with St Gallen. Even when they lose or draw, they still score 2-3 goals. St Gallen at home are no pushover – but they still concede 2+ on average every 2 games, 5 times in their last 10 home games, and add in the fact Basel regularly score a couple each game against them and 8/11 top up the treble nicely!
As an accumulator, this pays 14.2/1. Favoured double is the top two @ 3.5/1
Best of luck!
