Now domestic football is back – the near future looks very good! We had an okay Sunday –  2/2 on the one game and 0/2 on the other, in the case of the Twente game there was an early red card to the team we had a player on backed to score (Haller) so that didn’t go well, and in the case of the other bet picked – well it ended 1-1 so it wasn’t quite the 4 goals needed. Torino and Belotti delivered – Belotti bagged a brace and Torino won 2-0, meaning both the A/T scorer bet and the -1 Asian Handicap both won at very nice odds!

Today, we have Champions League and Domestic leagues on – but for me the CL is far too unpredictable, with Celtic drawing with Man City and Legia drawing with Madrid – it’s just too hard to call and when we want a healthy win percentage, you have to go on what is more predictable in terms of results! The football league looks the best place – and here are three games I very much like:

Dover vs Woking: Dover Win + Over 2.5 Goals @ 6/5 (Conference, 1945 KO)

Dover are very much a team in form. They are averaging 2 goals per game so far, and 2.5 goals per game at home, conceding plenty however (33). They play a Woking side that concede 2.3 per game away from home, and given Dover’s home form (7 wins from 10) and the fact they score so many – I think Dover will either score three themselves or win with Woking also scoring.

Barrow vs Guiseley: Barrow -1 Goal Handicap @ 29/20 (Conference, 1945 KO)

Barrow have been a surprise package since their got promotion, sitting very high up the league and having a stonkingly good home record! 7 wins and 3 draws thus far, they play a Guiseley side struggling at the foot of the table, winless away from home in 10 games (9 losses) and barely scoring a goal (6 in 10). They have lost 13 of 20 games overall, but struggle most away. Barrow, unbeaten at home, not conceding many and scoring plenty…high hopes for this one!

Port Vale vs Oldham: Port Vale Win @ 7/4 (League One, 1945 KO)

This is fairly overpriced for me. Port Vale have won 6/9 at home, and looked very sound against teams big and small. Oldham are near the foot of the table, but have only conceded 19 goals in 18 games – some feat, but proof they don’t score enough to take many points – just 9 goals! Port Vale have lost only once at home all season, and taking that into account against a team who average half a goal per game…7/4 cracking value!

Those are my top three – if anyone wants a fourth, Sheff Utd + Over 2.5 @ 19/20 looks pretty sound, but from a tipping standpoint they always seem to let me down – even though they are playing Bury, who have lost their last 5-6 games straight…I don’t trust them!

Best of luck!
