Yesterday was not too bad – the NAP won with ease, Cagliari won 3-0 for the -1 Handicap to win easily @ 21/20.
In the other game, Palace dominated throughout but did not put away chances and eventually lost 1-0 in what was Sunderland’s first away win this season! Typical timing for Palace to have a shocker…
Moving onto Tuesday – Champions League footy mixed with a full card in League One and Two – three tips in total in what is a nice 10/1 treble:
BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals markets available via William Hill & Bet 365 to our knowledge – potentially others too. Corner market on Bet365.
Crawley vs Northampton: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 11/10 (League Two, 1945 KO – NAP)
This looks a solid bet if you look at the statistics.
Crawley – 8 BTTS + Over 2.5’s in their last 10 games, with 4 in their last 5 home games.
Northampton – 8 BTTS + Over 2.5’s in their last 10 games, with 4 in their last 5 away games.
I don’t think you could find any better than that for today!
Wimbledon vs Dag & Red: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 13/10 (League Two, 1945 KO)
This from the outside does not look that good a bet. Dag & Red are bottom and in pretty poor form. Wimbledon are typically mean at the back, a mix of either winning to nil or losing to nil. But – look a little deeper and you find the following:
Dag & Red: 8 BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals in a row away from home – when they get away from their fans and the pressure, they tend to perform better.
Wimbledon: 6 BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals in their last 10 home games, with an additional 2 games that were just BTTS. They also scored in all 10 of those games
13/10 is a high price – hopefully the trend will continue. Dag & Red won 4-0 in the last meeting, so they may still hold some confidence and with them being a little better away from home I think the bookies have overpriced this a little.
BATE Borisov vs Leverkusen: Leverkusen -1 Corner Handicap @ 5/4 (Champions League, 1700KO)
In the set of games so far, Leverkusen have not been so hot on corners. 3-3 vs BATE first time round in the 4-1 win, while the other games they have lost. This time however they need the win and BATE are better at home so it could well be 0-0 or even 0-1 for a little while and push Leverkusen into really going for it.
BATE’s corner record since that game has been appalling. They have lost 7-1, 8-1 and 9-0 to Barca and Roma – two of those were home games too. Contain seems to be the method, but they never stood a chance and actually ended up beating Roma 3-2. They have a small chance of qualifying if they win and then get a result in the next game too, but I think Leverkusen’s quality will put it to bed quickly and they will dominate the game, racking up 6-8 corners and conceding a couple at the worst!
The top two is my preferred double @ 3.8/1, while adding the 3rd game takes it to 10/1.
Best of luck
