1017

An average day on Saturday – 2 wins from 4, with Scunthorpe blowing a lead late on in their game, and Everton losing for the first time this season. Palace recovered from 2-0 down to win 3-2 (13/8), while Man Utd were 4-0 up before Leicester got the all-important goal for the BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 5/4.

With just the one game in the Premier League – today’s focus is of course on the Euro football:

(1) AEL Larissa vs Olympiakos: Olympiakos Over 2.5 TG’s @ 11/8 (1830 KO, Greek Super League) – NAP

The Greek league is a very un-competitive one – there are many sides struggling both on the pitch, and off it – with finances making it hard to survive with the current issues in the country. On a more football related point – AEL have come back up and conceded 2 per game so far, both games to very poor sides – and with Olympiakos having the best squad in the league by far, I think they will add to the 8 goals in 2 outings so far this season, possibly scoring 3-5 goals in my opinion!

(2) Aarau vs Zurich: Zurich Win @ 11/10 (1400 KO, Swiss Challenge League)

Zurich have responded to relegation extremely well – winning 7 of 8 games, scoring 17 and conceding just two! They are looking very handy, and if you can find odds, will be odds-on to go back up at the first attempt. Aarau have also started well, winning 5 of 8, but conceding 10 – and with the attacking force, and defensive strength of Zurich, I can’t see them breaching their defence often enough to outscore their opponents.

(3) Fiorentina vs AC Milan: Carlos Bacca A/T Scorer @ 7/5 (1945 KO, Serie A)

Along with Mauro Icardi, Bacca is the in-form striker in the Italian league with 5 goals in 5 games – and against a decent Fiorentina side, he will get the chances to make it 6 in 6! His record for AC, and infact across his career is very good – 25 in 48 for AC, while his career stats read 215 goals in 412 games – better than a goal in every 2 games!

(4) Inter vs Bologna: Mauro Icardi FGS @ 11/5 (1400 KO, Serie A)

Much like Bacca, Icardi’s record both this season and across his career is fantastic! Much younger at 23, he has 6 in 5 games this season, often scoring first – while has 53 in 96 league games over the last 3-4 seasons, and at such a young age, I can only see him going on to better things, with a potential Premier League move not far off given his form. Christ knows how much he will cost! Anyway, at home, as their lead striker – he will be a prime suspect in the FGS battle!

Variations:

Given the risky nature of the goalscorer markets, especially the First Goalscorer – you could either have two separate doubles, or an overall accumulator.

Double 1: 1 + 2 @ 4/1

Double 2: 3 + 4 @ 6.6/1 (Add in Bacca FGS for 16/1)

Accumulator: 38/1
