Both tips won yesterday – in varying circumstances! Zaglebie-Sonderjyske was 1-2 before HT, while the other game between Admira and Slovan Liberec was 1-1 after 13 minutes, but needed a couple of stoppages (lights failing) in order to find the next goal. Slovan scored in the 75th minute to give us the win, and even after that there were a few more stoppages as the lights went out 3 times!
Today, there isn’t a great deal on – leagues such as Germany, France and Holland I’m leaving for a few weeks. Today’s duo of bets fall in Austria and Belgium:
Kapfenburg vs Wacker Innsbruck: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 1/1 (Austrian Erste, 1730 KO)
In their last 12 games of the 15/16 season, Kapfenburg had a total of 10 BTTS and 8 BTTS + Over 2.5’s – while in their 9 home games since the restarting of the league back in February – 7 BTTS + Over 2.5’s and one BTTS. Wacker were not so goal friendly – either losing to nil or winning by about 3. However their meetings always threw up goals – in last seasons’ 3 matches there were 13 goals in 2-2, 2-2 and 4-1 results.
Both started this season with a win and BTTS, and given both have frailties – I think it could be a cracker!
KV Mechelen vs Club Brugge: Brugge -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 7/5 (Belgian Pro League, 1930 KO)
In their last 3 meetings, Brugge have won 4-1, 3-0 and 3-2. In terms of their squad – well they walked the league last season and get the pick of a lot of European leagues as the Belgian league is one where players get noticed! Their forwards are excellent and in a 1 in 2 scoring mode – Vossen, Diaby – and then the wingers in Refaelov and Izquiredo have a one in 3 record, there or there abouts.
Mechelen were very mid-table, losing 13/30 regular season games. @ 4/5, the win is good value, but I think they will score a few if they start well. Brugge to win by a couple.
Double pays around 4/1
Best of luck
