NAP landed with ease, despite Juventus going down to 10 men before HT. At 5-1, it looked a little iffy, but 6 corners in quick succession with no reward eased it home, 11-1 in the end. Fiorentina however took an early lead and despite all the possession and chances they could only muster 2 of the 7 needed, which was very disappointing.
Today I have a 9/1 treble:
1. Galatasaray -1 Goal Handicap @ 11/10 vs Eskisehirspor (Turkish Super Lig, 1845 KO – NAP)
Galatasaray have an incredible home run going – with 16 wins in their last 20 games infront of their own fans. This season they have won 2/4, but have had a couple of tough games. Eskisehirspor on the other hand have had an awful start, losing 4/4 away games without scoring, three of which were 2-0. Their away form in general is pretty drab, with 5 losses in a row and no win away in 8. Gala, with stars such as Bulut, Podolski, Yilmaz and Sneijder should win this fairly easily, with their home meet last season ending 4-2 to Gala. Very good value bet considering form!
2. Sampdoria Win @ 5/4 vs Empoli (Serie A, 1945 KO)
As per the norm in Italy, teams gain most of their points at home, while struggle away.
Sampdoria have picked up 13 points from 5 home games (4 wins and a draw) while Empoli have picked up a win and three losses from four away games. Last season in the corresponding fixture Sampdoria won 1-0, and in their ranks one of the top scorers in the league – Eder, with 7, one behind Gonzalo Higuain. The other good stat is that Sampdoria have lost just three of their last 20 home games, while Empoli have won 3 of their last 20 away games. A rather good price considering all of this…
3. Fenerbache Win @ Evens vs Osmanlispor (Turkish Super Lig, 1600 KO)
All three games in Turkey today look good – but sticking with three, with this pick being a mix of stats and my gut. Fenerbache are in decent form, winning 2 of four away games. They have been a bit hit and miss, but with new signings settling in with each passing day, I think they will only get better. The likes of Van Persie, Diego, Markovic and Meireles should start to be gelling, which for me is key. Osmanlispor were surprisingly promoted, and started okay-ish, but have lost their last 3 games in a row, to teams around them at the bottom of the table. Fener should have enough quality to win this match, for which reason they are my 3rd and final pick for the day.
If I were to pick a double, it would be the top two @ 4/1. As mentioned, the treble is 9/1.
If you want a little extra safety, then Galatasaray are 2.015 on Bet365 using the Asian Handicap system for -1, 1.5 – which in short means if they win by one, you get a refund, while if they win by 2 – the bet wins. Similar sort of thing to draw no bet, but adjusted slightly.
Best of luck
