After a very good week last week, this one has not been so good. Between Aguero/City having a stinker Wednesday, Inter having a mare last night – and most of our ‘Goals’ bets being one off – it hasn’t been a memorable one…

Friday is upon us – and with that is the bout of European games, mainly in the 2nd tiers of each league – so terrific value around – so let’s get started!

(1) Jihlava vs Bohemians 1905: Bohemians Win or Draw @ 1/1 (Czech First League, 1700 KO)

These two are relatively evenly matched – but Jihlava have had the much poorer start to the season, sitting 2nd bottom at the moment. Bohemians have won 3/7 games, but are winless away from home. Jihlava – slightly better at home, but still leak goals.

The even nature of the two sides means the meetings are often ones that both see a good chance of winning, with the last 5 games having scorelines of 4-1, 2-1, 2-1, 0-0 and 2-1, Bohemians winning all four, but both scoring in 80% of the games. Jihlava are missing multiple key players, and with Bohemians having such a good record against them, I think they will get at least a point. 3/1 is high for the win, but this price for a win or draw smacks of value!

(2) Paderborn vs Hansa Rostock: Over 2.5 Goals @ 11/10 (Bundesliga III, 1800 KO)

This looks an interesting game – at home, you have Paderborn – just 2 seasons ago they were mixing it with the likes of Dortmund and Bayern, but fast forward two successive relegations, they are plying their trade in the 3rd tier of German football.

On the goals front – two sides at the opposite end of the scale. Paderborn have had a total of 31 goals in their 9 games, with 8 over 2.5’s – while Rostock have had 18 goals in 9 games, and a total of 2 over 2.5’s. They did score 5 in their last outing, while Paderborn have the capability to either score or concede 3 in any game!

(3) RKC Waalwijk vs Jong PSV: Jong PSV Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 11/8 (Dutch Erste, 1900 KO – NAP)

Jong PSV have been the surprise package of the Dutch 2nd tier this season, top of the league and racking up wins and goals with each passing week! We backed them on Monday, and they won easily. Away at Waalwijk, they are 11/5 to win, despite their form.

Looking at RKC, in their four away games have have conceded 2 or more in 3 of them, and for me are very over-priced to win this game. With the likes of Sam Lammers and Albert Gudmundsson in great form (the latter bagging a treble on Monday) I think they will bag a couple of goals against an average defence.
