After a very good weekend, with our value picks of evens or above ending with 5 wins in 5 tips – we come to transfer deadline day and the next round of Premier League and Championship games.

Despite the wealth of games over the coming two days, very little takes my fancy and for that reason I have just two tips for this evening – both in the Premier League, both around the evens mark.

Liverpool vs Chelsea: Chelsea Draw No Bet @ 1/1 (PL, 2000 KO)

Liverpool have had a torrid time of late – losing to Wolves on the weekend, Southampton twice in the last fortnight and Swansea in the league. They are out of both cups, and have slipped well behind leaders Chelsea in the hunt for that elusive first Premier League title. Tonight, against the top dogs, Chelsea look great value @ 1/1 in the draw no bet market. Given they have a full strength squad, Diego Costa back in the team and the fact that Liverpool have lost 3 games at Anfield in the last 10 days – there should be an air of confidence, and rightly is.

With Brentford walloped, the likes of Cahill, Hazard, Costa and co should all return fresh, while Klopp is still reeling from what has happened to their season in the past 10 days. It might not be a case of Chelsea beating Liverpool, but Liverpool beating themselves mentally. Under the cool, calm and collected Conte – this market looks the value bet.

Sunderland vs Spurs: Spurs -1 Goal Handicap @ 21/20 (PL, 1945 KO)

This is the biggest mis-match in the league tonight. Sunderland have lost 7 of their last 10 games, conceding 20 goals and gaining just 5 points in that time. Spurs on the other hand are in good form, and with half a team rested in the 4-3 win over Wycombe, should be refreshed. Sunderland, having lost to Burnley in the replay mid January, had a rest weekend – but are still missing plenty of players such as Jordan Pickford, Victor Anichebe, Jan Kirchoff and Lee Cattermole to name but a few. New signings have come in, but to what effect they will have, and weather they will even play is another matter.

Given the form of Kane and Alli, not to mention the likes of Walker and Dembele. I think Spurs should win this with a little left in the tank. Potential 3/4-0, but a solid 2-0 the least I expect.

Other bets such as Burnley vs Leicester and Palace vs Bournemouth BTTS + Over 2.5’s were considered, but with the poor weather around the country, added to the cold conditions – goals could be few and far between, despite the form.

The double pays in the region of 3/1.

Best of luck
