Our 6 fold acca for the weekend has been posted yesterday – here is our 4-Fold, paying just under 20/1.
This set of tips are from England, a mix of Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two:
Birmingham vs Bristol City: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 13/10 (1500 KO, Championship)
Birmingham lost their season opener 1-0 away at Ipswich. A far from ideal start too the season but Ipswich is a pretty notorious place to visit as far the difficulty finding goals goes. Midweek in the Carabao Cup Birmingham managed to find the net on five occasions at home. Bristol city fans have seen more goals in their opening two matches than most fans see in the first month! Their season got off to a solid start with a dominating performance and a 3-1 win at home over Barnsley. Bristol city then added to this with a 5-0 win over Plymouth in the Carabao Cup. We should expect to see a different Birmingham side under Harry Redknapp this year and I feel they will draw their main strength from home performances.
Everton vs Stoke: Everton -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 5/4 (1500 KO, Premier League)
The opening day of the Premier League season is always something of a guessing game but it would seem Everton are taking a push for the elite clubs in the league extremely serious. The club have made some very impressive signings and as much and an overhaul such as this takes some time to gel, nobody could be surprised if Everton make a strong start. Everton had a decent enough season last year and Koeman made Goodison a very difficult place for away teams to visit. Although losing their talisman in Lukaku Everton fans must be over the moon with the replacements the club have brought in. The bolstering of the defence will make life extremely difficult for Stoke and Everton will threaten will real creativity throughout the midfield.
Bristol Rovers vs Peterborough: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 21/20 (1500 KO, League One)
Strange starts too the season for both of these sides; Bristol Rovers started with a 1-0 loss to Charlton after having a man advantage after just five minutes, they then went on too beat Cambridge 4-1 in the Carabao Cup. Peterborough started with a 2-1 home win over league new boys Plymouth and then fell victim to a 3-1 loss to Barnet in the Carabao Cup. From these results we can see both teams score goals and both teams concede goals. Bristol rovers losing 1-0 to Charlton after having a man advantage so early has to be considered somewhat a freak result and even though the Carabao Cup was considered ‘lower opposition’ a great confidence will have been taken from that result.
Barnet vs Luton: Luton Win @ 5/4 (1500 KO, League Two)
Luton started the season with an 8-2 win, while Barnet drew 2-2. Luton were my pick pre-season for promotion, or even the title – and they have started as such. They have a top record against Barnet, winning 3-1 and 1-0 last season. They have a very handy team, and against a team like Barnet should have plenty of opportunities to win and win well.
Best of luck
