So we are now into the real starting point of the season, with the Premier League kicking off this weekend, and other English leagues entering their 2nd or 3rd game week.
It all starts to hot up, but with English leagues being very unpredictable this early, we are sticking with the foreign leagues for this weekend at least…
6 games spread across Saturday and Sunday, picking some of the top sides in their respective leagues, either in terms of handicaps or team goals.
20/1 is the price – and here are the bets:
Varbergs vs Brommapojkarna: Brommapojkarna Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 8/11 (Swedish Superrettan, 1400 KO – Sunday)
Altach vs Salzburg: Salzburg Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 8/11 (Austrian Bundesliga, 1500 KO – Saturday)
Tondela vs Porto: Porto -1 Goal Handicap @ 5/6 (Portuguese Primeira, 2015 KO – Sunday)
Guingamp vs PSG: PSG -1 Goal Handicap @ 8/13 (French Ligue 1, 2000 KO – Sunday)
Heracles vs Ajax: Ajax Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 1/2 (Dutch Eredivisie, 1845 KO – Saturday)
Elverum vs Bodo/Glimt: Bodo/Glimt Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 4/6 (Norwegian OBOS-Ligaen, 1400 KO – Sunday)
A mix of teams from across Europe – some in their first game of the season, but top quality. Ajax, Porto and PSG are all odds on favourites, and for me easy handicap winners – although the Ajax market is on team goals at that price.
Salzburg, Brommapojkarna and Bodo/Glimt are all top of their league and playing teams that are easily beatable. Salzburg have a great record against Altach, who leak goals. Bodo/Glimt are the form side of the Norway 2nd tier – nailing goals past pretty much all sides – and Elverum are in the bottom 3 and their previous result against them was good one. Brommapojkarna have risen from the ashes of their demise – they were playing Europa League football two season ago, but dropped down two leagues – but having been promoted last season are now top again and really handing out some beatings – a 3-0 result against Varbergs last time out.
Our other accumulator will focus more on England, but for a value handicap accumulator I really like Ajax, Brommapojkarna, Bodo/Glimt and Salzburg all -1 @ 46/1.
Best of luck!
