Football Tips // 8-Fold-Acca

Last weekend was let down by AC Milan, thanks to the young prodigy Donnarrumma making a hash of it and gifting one of the worst sides in the league an equaliser.

Same as usual – 8 games spread across Europe to form a massive accumulator. 6/8 last weekend, still no win in 5 or 6 attempts but one will come sooner than later!

This weekend is more weighted towards the Saturday with 7 of 8 games taking place, and just one on the Sunday.

Anyway – here are my 8 picks:

Lyon vs Lorient: Lyon -1 Goal Handicap @ 8/13 (1900 KO, Saturday)

Juventus vs Chievo: Juventus -1 Goal Handicap @ 8/11 (1945 KO, Saturday)

Malaga vs Barcelona: Barcelona -1 Goal Handicap @ 10/11 (1945 KO, Saturday)

Northampton vs Sheff Utd: Sheff Utd Win @ 4/6 (1500 KO, Saturday)

Bournemouth vs Chelsea: Chelsea Win @ 13/20 (1730 KO, Saturday)

Alessandria vs Prato: Alessandria Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 4/6 (1730 KO, Saturday)

Barrow vs Woking: Over 2.5 Goals @ 4/5 (1500 KO, Saturday)

Stuttgart vs Karlsruher: Stuttgart Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 8/13 (1230 KO, Sunday)

Lyon are in terrific home form – putting scores of goals past teams and when you consider Lorient are in the bottom three and phenomenally poor away from home – the handicap looks value. Juventus have won 15/15 at home, and face a Chievo side who are decent, and sit in mid-table. However away from home they struggle, losing 6 of their last 10 and by multiple goals. Juve’s strength should show in this one.

Malaga are usually Barca’s bogey team – really struggling against them and often dropping points. Given they are at full strength and Malaga have lost 6 of their last 7 home games – I think they will fare better this time around. Sheffield Utd are handy on the road and obviously thanks to that sit top of the league. Just 2 losses in their previous 20 away games – against a Northampton side who are very unpredictable.

Chelsea away to a Bournemouth side conceding heavily – 13/20 decent odds for what should be a solid win. Alessandria are facing a team in the bottom form table for away games and in the bottom 4 in general. The home side have won 14 of 16 home games, while Prato have lost 12/16, scoring only 7 goals.

Barrow vs Woking should be full of goals, and 4/5 is amazing value. The away side have scored 58 and conceded 74 so far, and have 31 over 2.5’s out of 41, including 18/20 away from home. Barrow’s record is 50/50 at home – 10/20, and around the same overall. Finally, Stuttgart – very handy at home and playing the worst away side in the league, who are also in the bottom 3. 3 points should come, while I think them scoring 2 goals is a good price at 8/13.

Pays the best part of 75/1!

Best of luck!
