Only Germany V England returned last Saturday with both teams to score and both teams to score + Over 2.5 goals coming home. Back to normal football this weekend. I’ve given four selections with a price at the bottom for the accumulator:
Liverpool vs Tottenham BTTS @ 3/4 (17:30 KO, Barclays Premier League)
Liverpool come off the back of an unreal 3-2 defeat to Southampton after leading 2-0, they sit 9th and face a tough test against title chasing Spurs. 45 goals for and 40 goals against for Liverpool, at home they have only failed to score on two occasions and kept four clean sheets. Spurs have scored 56 and conceded only 24 goals thus far failing only twice to score away from home and keeping four clean sheets. Although Spurs have the best defensive record in the League before the 3-0 win over Bournemouth they had conceded in four on the bounce, they also sit 7th in the BTTS league with 55% of games finishing with both sides on the board – that figure rises to 60% In away matches. Low failed to score stats in terms of Home V Away.
Brighton vs Burnley BTTS @ 11/10 (12:30 KO, English Championship)
Real possible ‘egg on your face’ situation. 1st V 2nd. Potentially great value. Burnley currently sit five points clear of Brighton and have had a fantastic season; the league’s highest scorers with 61 goals and a good defensive record with 31 conceded. Brighton have scored 52 and conceded 35. Concern over the clean sheets with both teams keeping a total 15, But both teams are strong going forward; Brighton have scored In five of their last seven and Burnley have found the net In all seven. Brighton need a win here to cut the gap to 1st down to just a point and also have Middlesbrough breathing down their neck only a point behind in 3rd. Both teams need the win and naturally will be looking to get the advantage early on. Price too good to refuse.
Huddersfield vs Sheffield Wednesday BTTS @ 19/20 (15:00 KO, English Championship)
Huddersfield currently sit 16th and although not mathematically but realistically should consider themselves safe, Sheffield Wednesday head into this occupying the last Play off Spot. Huddersfield have a lunatic record of 52 goals for and 53 goals against, whilst Wednesday have scored 56 and conceded 36. Huddersfield have scored In five of their last seven matches and scored in four of their last five games at home. Sheffield Wednesday have hit a slight dry spell in recent matches managing to score in only three of their last seven. Worth baring in mind though in their last two matches they have managed six goals and are coming up against a Huddersfield side who have conceded 53 goals and failed to keep a clean sheet In their last six matches.
Gillingham vs Coventry BTTS @ 7/9 (15:00 KO, English League One)
Gillingham have scored 65 goals and conceded 44 this season, they have scored in six of their last seven matches and conceded in four. Coventry have scored 59 and conceded 44, scoring in three of their last seven and conceding in five. Although the fact Coventry only scoring in three of their last seven is worrying – It’s definately worth noting all three of those matches were away from home. Coventry seem to have hit a block in front of goal when compared to February when they found eight goals in three matches, They are playing a Gillingham side though that have conceded the joint most goals in the top six. This is a fixture that in previous three meetings has thrown out 10 goals!
The above as a BTTS four-fold pays around 11/1. For those looking for a bigger price – BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals in all four pays more than double this!
Good Luck as Always
