Been a Quiet two weeks from me, i struggle to trust anything with the internationals and figured it was a good time to re-coup after a nightmare last time out. One winning tip from three certainly isn’t ideal and although inevitable it hurt to get my first 0-0 draw.
I think the only bloke having a worse time than me that weekend in terms of football was Brendan Rodgers, of course with or without Liverpool he has the house, the car, the money etc – but I cant complain my Citroen DS3 is convenient and I imagine the money gets boring quick. Before I start to contemplate all my life’s decision’s lets move onto this weeks BTTS selections, hopefully Back with a BOOM! five selections across five leagues.
‘At a Glance’
Chelsea V Aston Villa @ 20/19
Reading V Charlton @ 6/5
Rangers V Queen Of The South @ 11/8
Toulouse V Angers @11/10
Roma V Empoli @ Evens
Chelsea v Aston villa @ 20/19 (15:00 KO, Barclays Premier League)
Chelsea BTTS 75% (six in eight) Aston Villa BTTS 50% (four in eight).
Chelsea have scored in seven games from eight and conceded in the same amount. The total goals scored and conceded across eight games are; 12 and 17. Aston Villa have managed to find the net in five of their eight games and have conceded in seven. Aston Villa’s total goals scored and conceded is eight and 13. In the last five meetings three have been three BTTS.
Reading V Charlton @ 6/5 (15:00 KO, English Championship)
Reading’s BTTS record this season is 50% (five from 10) whilst Charlton’s currently sits at 75% (seven from 10).
Reading have scored in seven games whilst conceding in six. Reading have scored a total 16 goals and conceded seven. Charlton have managed to score in eight games thus far and conceded in the same amount. In the eight games Charlton have scored in, they have racked up 11 goals and conceded 14.
Rangers V Queen Of The South @ 11/8 (15:00 KO, Scottish Championship)
56% (five from nine) of Rangers games have finished BTTS and QOS have had 30% (three from 10).
Rangers have scored in every one of their nine games scoring a total 33 goals. Rangers have failed to keep a clean sheet in five of their nine games, conceding a total five goals.
Queen of the South have scored in six from 10 games, scoring a total 10 goals. In Queen Of The South’s 10 games they have conceded in six, conceding a total 15 goals. In The last five meetings between these clubs three have ended BTTS – the only two games that didn’t it was in fact Rangers who failed to score!
Toulouse V Angers @ 11/10 (19:00 KO, French Ligue 1)
Toulouse have scored in seven out of nine games, scoring a total eight goals and have conceded in all eight games – the conceded total stands at 14. Angers have scored in seven from nine games, with a total goals tally of 10. Angers have only conceded in three games conceding a total of five. Angers are a newly promoted side who have a philosophy of defensive football, Toulouse score goals consistently and with the odds on the positive side I feel this is definitely worth a look! – also worth noting all four of Toulouse’s home games this season have finished BTTS.
Roma V Empoli @ EVENS. (17:00 KO, Serie A)
Of Roma’s seven games in Serie A this season 86% have finished BTTS (six from seven) with Empoli holding a record of 57% (four from seven). Roma have scored in all of their games this year with a total goals scored tally of 17. Roma have also conceded in six of seven games letting in a total of nine. Empoli also have an impressive scoring record finding the net in five from seven, scoring a total of seven. Empoli have conceded in six games conceding a total of 11 goals. If you were to also count Roma’s two champions league games this season (total nine games) in only one has it failed to be BTTS.
Everybody has their favourite variation of bets but for the dare devils in you the five-fold pays around 48/1.
