Following a good Saturday, it was a disappointing Sunday. Nice won 4-1 for an 11/10 winner, but then Zilina failed to win against 2nd bottom Presov (their first non-win in about 9 games) while Koln II went down to 10 men and drew against a team who had lost 10/12 games this season. Pretty much everything that could have gone wrong did! Two accumulators for you for the next couple of days – we have a 30/1 four-fold in the usual markets, and four selections in the goalscorer department:
Man City vs Barcelona: Barcelona Win @ 29/20 (Tuesday, 1945 KO)
Barca hammered Man City last time out, and with Bravo missing this time and the team in general underperforming – I think Barca are good value for the win. Suarez, Neymar, Messi…and that’s just the front three! Potentially a very high scoring game – but one I feel the away side will win.
Ludogorets vs Arsenal: Arsenal Over 2.5 Team Goals @ 11/10 (Tuesday, 1945 KO)
Arsenal put 6 past this side a few weeks ago, and despite the injuries put another 4 past Sunderland at the weekend. To score 3 against this team, even with the likes of Walcott out – is something that is very likely to happen. Sanchez is in amazing form, and even if he drops to the wing and Giroud starts – they are value either way.
Copenhagen vs Leicester: Leicester Draw No Bet @ 5/4 (Wednesday, 1945 KO)
Leicester have won 3/3 so far, and not conceded. They had a relatively comfortable win against the Danes last time out a few weeks back, and with Riyad Mahrez seemingly saving his best for the Champions League – they are a very healthy 12/5 to win. To take some risk out, Draw No Bet is 5/4 – and very handsomely priced!
Legia vs Real Madrid: BTTS + Over/Under – No & Over 2.5 Goals @ 8/5 (Wednesday, 1945 KO)
If this has confused anyone, it’s basically the BTTS + Over 2.5 market, but you are saying both won’t score and either will score 3 or more. So in this instance, Real Madrid to score 3+ and win to nil. Considering they won 6-1 a few weeks back (Ramos isn’t playing…so less risk of giving away penalties again) I think this time around they will keep a clean sheet and score plenty.
286/1 Goalscorer Bet:
Alexis Sanchez FGS @ 7/2 (Arsenal vs Ludogorets)
Edison Cavani FGS @ 11/4 (PSG vs Basel)
Cristiano Ronaldo FGS @ 12/5 (Real Madrid vs Legia)
Lionel Messi FGS @ 4/1 (Barcelona vs Man City)
Sanchez is in fine form – scoring nearly 10 goals this term, including 2 at the weekend. Similarly with Cavani, he has scored half a dozen in this seasons Champions League already – and since the departure of Ibra, he is now the main man who they base their play around. Ronaldo bagged a few against Legia last time, and Messi also netted multiple time against City. All high prices, but like you have seen over the last few weeks – we have hit at least 2/4 when doing these – so if put in a lucky 15 or multiples, can pay quite handsomely!
Best of luck!
