5 out of 6 on Tuesday…tonight we aim to go one better! 6 games in the Europa League, 6 BTTS tips – and a 30/1 accumulator that will hopefully fair slightly better than Tuesday!
It’s a little tougher, is the Europa. Never sure who is going to take it seriously, and who is going to rest half their squad. For Thursday – I have picked sides who are playing full-strength sides, and those who have issues defending – but also have plenty of firepower.
A mix of 6pm and 8pm games, with a mix of information about each. Once again I have priced using Odds Checker – the highest price being 30/1 with 10Bet, otherwise most pay around the 25/1 mark with Stan James and Ladbrokes the next best at just over 25’s.
We start with the 6pm KO’s:
Krasnodar vs Schalke: BTTS @ 20/29 (1800 KO)
Both started with 2 wins from 2 in the group phase – Schalke, much like Leicester, have struggled in the league but found shelter in the Europa League – performing well. Krasnodar in good home form, winning 7 from 8 – but even in the poor Russian league with not a lot of quality, they concede a few.
Salzburg vs Nice: BTTS @ 10/13 (1800 KO)
Same group as the above duo – so both have lost 2/2, Nice fairly handy going forward. Salzburg not quite what they used to be – conceding 2 to Mattersburg at the weekend reaffirms this, while Nice have conceded plenty already.
AZ vs Maccabi Tel Aviv: BTTS @ 5/7 (1800 KO)
AZ have always been a goal-friendly side, and a draw against Dundalk also says they also aren’t quite what they were last season. Tel Aviv lead Zenit 3-0, but lost 4-3. Says it all…high potential for scoring, but equally struggle defensively.
Genk vs Bilbao: BTTS @ 20/23 (2005 KO)
Genk have had a mixed start – winning 3-1 but then losing 3-2. Bilbao are a side that have had a few injury issues and lie bottom of the group. Not been great this season, but with the likes of Aduriz, Williams and Muniain – they are a dangerous side.
Rapid Vienna vs Sassuolo: BTTS @ 10/13 (2005 KO)
Both of these have high high scoring starts – with 6 and 7 goals respectively – both scoring at least 3, and both conceding 3. Sassuolo have scored 2’s and 3’s all season, but also conceded as many as 4 per game at times. Rapid similar – lost 4-2 to Ried, and drew 1-1 with Altach at the weekend.
Mainz vs Anderlecht: BTTS @ 10/13 (2005 KO)
Mainz have never been a name related with entertainment, but this season – they certainly have been. 7 BTTS in 8 games, and 4/4 at home. Anderlecht have been good value for this market, 3-1 and 1-1 results so far, and add in Mainz’ 1-1 and 3-2 results – you get a feel that this could be similar.
As mentioned – somewhere between 25/1 and 30/1, depending on who you bet with.
Best of luck!
