Clean sweep last night – all of two tips, however both very nicely priced! Biel-Winterthur Over 3.5 Goals was a great pick if I may say so myself @ 7/4, and a second of Juventus Draw No Bet @ 11/10, however I mixed prices up and it was infact closer to 11/8 – a 3-0 win for them. Today brings along the rather tricky Europa League – 2nd legs are always hard to predict as often the first leg decides the outcome. All four games selected have a leader at the moment – no ties, as those games are often tighter in the 2nd leg. Games where one team is chasing can be very entertaining! Anyway – my four picks, not recommended as an Accumulator unless very low stakes:
1. Dynamo Kyiv Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 6/5
Kyiv are very good at home, and despite missing the likes of Belhanda – Yarmolenko, Lens, Gusev and Mbokani should provide more than a threat to a shakey looking Everton defence. The BTTS price for this game is pretty poor, but I’m expecting both to score and for there to be at least 3 goals, so same as yesterday BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 6/5 is good game if you can find it on your betting account (Bet365 and W/Hill definitely do it).
2. Zenit Win + Under 2.5 Goals @ 7/2
Torino at home are solid, just 4 losses all season, none in the Europa League. Zenit too are hard to beat away, with only a couple of losses and a couple of draws all season – the rest wins! Zenit win a lot of games 1 or 2-0 away from home, with a tight defence that includes Ezequiel Garay and Domineco Criscito. Upfront – Danny, Hulk and Rondon should manage a goal between them, and see out a comfortable aggregate win.
3. Napoli Win + Over 2.5 Goals @ 9/4
At home in the first leg, Napoli won 3-1. Away from home, they are not brilliant – a 4-0 victory in the previous stage their only win in the last 5 away games in all competitions. Dynamo Moscow are very good at home, and with the likes of Valbuena, Kokorin and Kerzhakov linking up, I can definitely see a goal for the home side at some point. However, I think the likes of Higuain, Mertens, Hamsik and Insigne will prove too much for the Russian side.
4. Inter-Wolfsburg BTTS 1st Half @ 3/1 or Over 3.5 Goals @ 13/8
This bet landed in the first leg within 15 minutes or so. Away from home, Wolfsburg have issues defending, with 5-3 and 5-4 wins in their last 5 away games. Inter are inconsistent, with but a mix of Icardi and Palacio up top, with Kovacic threading balls through – I fancy goals in this game – 4 in the first leg, how many will we see today? I’m going for 5! Wolfsburg to win 3-2…BTTS Both Halves is 11/1, tempting!
Picking a NAP from those is tough – obviously some of those are high odds. The sensible one to go for is Dynamo Kyiv Over 1.5 TG’s @ 6/5, but something is drawing me to BTTS 1st Half in the Inter-Wolfsburg game, so I’m sticking with my gut on this one! It may harm my % rate for NAP’s, but hell with it!
The Accumulator pays 130/1, but like mentioned that would certainly mean a low stake bet if you did go for it. A nice double I may have a dollar or two on is:
- Zenit Win + Under 2.5 Goals @ 7/2 + Napoli Win + Over 2.5 Goals @ 9/4 – 14/1
Hopefully we will have some Goalscorer Tips from Jamie later today, as well as a Cheltenham Festival Review from James as well. My Dick Advocaat article could well make it up later today too – see how things play out…
Best of luck
