Having a really bad week! Monday’s NAP ended up so far off it was unreal – 30 odd shots, and neither Shakhtar or their opposition could even score one! Tuesday – Real went inches from leading, but then Carvajal decided to award Juve a penalty and lose us another. Wednesday went very well, with only 5 corners in total and our bet of Under 9 corners @ 7/5 landing. Last night there were 5 corners in the first 25 minutes (we went with over 10 @ Evens) and then there was another 0 corners in the next 70 minutes…couldn’t write that sort of stuff!
Today looks very good – not betting on any league where it is the last game – which is the case in the Erste Division in Holland. I have picked out 4 bets which I feel are great value – one of which was in the Play-off article posted this morning:
1. Troyes -1 Goal Handicap @ 21/20 vs Arles (Ligue 2, 1900 KO) vs Arles (NAP)
Troyes have won the league. 11 points clear with 3 games to go – however they have not let up recently with 4 wins in 5 home games. Even though Arles are relegated, Troyes should still put a few past them, and have won by -1 goal 5 times in their last 7 wins at home (in a 10 game spell) while Arles have lost 6/10 away games, many of those to nil and by at least -1. Troyes won away from home at Arles 4-0 this season, so a 2-0 victory, which has been their norm at home recently, should be a great bet!
2. Valenciennes-Laval BTTS @ 23/20 (Ligue 2, 1900 KO)
Valenciennes have had 4 BTTS at home in their last 5, while Laval have had 3 in their last 5 overall and away. The last meeting ended 3-1 to Laval. I’m confident this will go BTTS!
3. Brentford-Middlesbrough BTNTS @ Evens (Championship, 1945 KO)
Middlesbrough won this fixture twice this season, 4-0 and 1-0, With Vossen, Bamford and Kike up front, they will be confident, however I see a very tight game. 4 of Boro’s last 5 away games only had one or no team score. I really don’t think both sides will score in this game, either to win 1-0 I would think. With neither wanting to make a mistake, the whole first leg will be very cagey I imagine.
4. Goteborg Win @ 11/10 (Swedish Allsvenskan, 1800 KO) vs Kalmar
Goteborg have started the season well, with 5 wins from 7 and unbeaten away, taking 7 points from 9. Kalmar have lost 4 times this season, and have by no means faced many of the better teams yet. The previous result last season for this game was 2-0 Goteborg!
As an Accumulator, this pays around 18/1 – my preferred double is the French Duo @ 3.5/1!
Best of luck
