At the point of writing this, it is 4pm on Thursday afternoon – so today’s tip has not kicked off yet. Tomorrow’s football has some great potential, with Austrian and Czech leagues kicking off, while there is the 2nd round of games in Slovenia and Russia. Here are my four tips for the day:
1. Sparta Prague Win + Over 2.5 Goals @ 6/5 vs Vysocina Jihlava (1800 KO, Czech Synot Liga) NAP
Sparta have a great record against this team, winning the last 5 games and scoring 16 goals in the process. With it being the first game of the season, you never know where they are in terms of fitness or performance, with friendlies having little bareing. They have pretty much the same squad with some very talented players – a high value bet would be for them to score Over 2.5 Team Goals, but going safe incase of a 2-1. 80% sure they will score 3, but Jihlava usually score against them. 4 of the 5 wins they have had over them have gone over 2.5, so for me its a safer bet as well as good value.
2. O Ljubljana Win @ Evens vs Zarvc (1915 KO, Slovenian Prva Liga)
Ljubljana have won their last 5 games against this side – with scores of 2-1, 3-1, 2-0, 2-0 and 3-2. They ended the season in good form, and started the same way winning 4-1. Zarvc are a mid-lower league side, pretty average – and Ljubljana seem to have the wood on them.
3. CSKA Moscow HT-FT @ 13/10 vs Krylia Sovetov (1700 KO, Russian Premier League)
Moscow have a brilliant record vs Krylia – won the last 6 meetings, and 4 of those have been HT-FT. In the first game of the season CSKA beat Rubin Kazan 1-0 after utterly dominating the whole game – I mean I’m not sure how they didn’t score at least 5! With Tosic, Musa, Dzzagoev and then the likes of Natcho and Eremenko in the lineup, they should dispose of Sovetov.
4. Kapfenburg Draw No Bet @ 6/5 vs Wacker Innsbruck (1730 KO, Austrian Erste Liga)
Finally – Kapfenburg DNB – they have won their last 3 meetings with Wacker, scoring 7 goals (3-0, 3-0 and 1-0). I’d think at worst with a bit of bad luck they will draw. There isn’t a lot to go off, but with similar squads to last season, form is the best bet.
As far as ratings go – the NAP is by far my favourite, while 2 and 3 are equal at I’d say 85% confidence. The last bet is my least favoured of the four, but in my opinion a draw is the least I’d expect.
1. NAP – 1 @ 6/5
2. Double – 2 + 3 @ 4/1
3. Treble – 1, 2 and 3 @ 10/1
4. Acca – All Four @ 24/1
Best of luck
