Good morning all
We are going through somewhat of a poor spell – every day seems to bring a new batch of bad luck. Sogndal were 1-0 up yesterday, but then gave away a stupid penalty in the dying minutes. Partizan dominated most of the game and lost 3-2, with both sides having a man sent off.
Today looks a lot brighter – 4 picks from myself, the final two are a choice for you – depending on weather a Bookie prices it up, otherwise go with the 2nd option:
1. Mlada Boleslav-Sparta Prague Over 11.5 Corners @ 11/10 (Czech Synot Liga, 1930 KO – NAP)
These two always play out an attacking game full of goals and especially corners! Sparta’s first three games this season have had 16, 7 and 15 corners in, while Boleslav have had 14, 12 and 9. In their last 5 meetings, there have been 13, 12, 11, 10 and 3 corners. Both are very good going forward, a little vulnerable at the back. This should be a good game with a lot of corners!
2. Volendam-Den Bosch Over 3.5 Goals @ 6/4 (Dutch Erste, 1900 KO)
Volendam averaged 4 goals per game last season, while Den Bosch averaged just under 3. The last 5 meetings have had 5, 4, 2, 6 and 2 goals in – pretty much an average of four. In the first game this season both had 4 or more goals in their game, so it looks like they have started off in a similar vein.
3. Notts County Win @ 6/5 vs Mansfield (League Two, 1945 KO)
Notts County have a very good squad, lots of experience and some youthful players with a lot of quality. Mansfield on the other hand are my pick to go down – a very poor looking squad, and a severe lack of goalscorers. At home, County should be very good, and at 6/5 are a fantastic price to win their 2nd game in the league this season after beating Stevenage last weekend @ 21/10.
4. Shakhtar-Dnipro BTTS @ Evens (Ukrainian Premier League, 1700 KO)
The Moscow derby is usually very feisty – with many cards. In one of the most recent ones there was about 14 cards including 2 reds. All it takes is one goal, one nasty tackle and they are off – cards go flying! If Bet365 do not price this up for us, go with the BTTS option – the last two meets have been 3-2 and `1-1, and both sides have lost players since then – Luiz Adriano and Douglas Costa have both gone as has Konoplyanka. This bet is a very good price given that 3 of the last 5 games played at Shakhtar’s home ground have been BTTS (well, they are currently playing outside of the Donbass Arena) but with both sides playing well, but losing players – I like it – especially Shakhtar conceding two to Vorskla last weekend
1 + 2 Double pays 4.25/1, the treble (1-3) pays 11/1 and the Accumulator pays roughly 23/1.
All the best!
