Nothing on yesterday, and with system issues for us there probably was no chance of getting any up. Gremlins have been banished for now,
so we go into Friday with great confidence.
I only have two doubles for today – one with two tips I am fully expecting to win, with two others that are both 3/1 and are statistically a good call – but very risky:
1. Club Brugge -1 Goal Handicap @ 5/4 vs Mouscron Peruwelz – NAP (Belgian Pro League, 1930 KO)
Brugge are very good at home, but often struggle away. However today they play a Mouscron side that are downright dreadful, and after beating Liege 7-1 before the international break they should come into this with plenty of confidence. Last season they beat this team 3-1 and 4-1, and despite losing one of their forwards to Watford on the final day of the transfer window, they go into the game in good form (W3, D1, L2 this season).
Mouscron have lost 4/6 this season, drawing the other two. They have a fragile back four, and could get a hiding from Brugge! Whats worrying for them is that the best team they have played is an out of sorts Liege side – bar that they have conceded 11 in 5 against relegation rivals – so what will happen against a title challenger is beyond me. Could be 4 or 5, hopefully.
2. Go Ahead Eagles: Score First Half @ Evens vs VVV Venlo (Dutch Erste, 1900 KO)
Go Ahead have scored 2 in each of their last 3 games’ first halves. VVV have conceded in the 1st half in 3 of their 5 games so far this season and tend to be a little vulnerable in the first 45, but have also scored a lot too. This should be a high scoring game – I quite like BTTS Both Halves @ 11/1 – and with GA Eagles scoring/conceding a total of 17 in their 4 games, and VVV having 19 in their 5, you can see where I’m coming from on this one.
1. Go Ahead Eagles-VVV BTTS 1st Half @ 3/1 (Dutch Erste, 1900 KO)
Like mentioned, Go Ahead have scored 6 in their last 3 first halves – 2 per game. VVV on the other hand have scored 3 goals in 2 1st halves this season and although it has not happened a lot for either – both are sides that should be nearing the top of the table and both have issue defending, clearly. A risky one, but a great price!
2. Korona Draw No Bet @ 3/1 vs Lechia Gdansk (Polish Ekstraklasa, 1700 KO)
These two both have a similar record, but Korona have an extra 4 points and sit 7th. Both have scored 9 and conceded 9 in 7 games, so I’m not expecting a high scorer – but at 9/2 Korona look overpriced hugely. They have won the last three games between the two and have not lost to Lechia in nearly 2 and a half years – spanning 4 meetings. Win or Draw for Korona is 13/10 – I could be wrong, they might get battered, but with previous form suggesting they are a bogey team for the home side.
The first double pays in the region of 4/1, while the 2nd pays 15/1.
Stay tuned for our weekend preview which is coming up shortly.
Best of luck
