With the main accumulator posted for today, I thought I’d add a little riskier set of tips for those who like the goalscorer markets. Again, plenty of value about today – some big odds away scorers available as well as a couple of home teams that are odds on favourites, but the scorers are still above evens!
Two from the Premier League, one from the Championship and one from League One:
Alvaro Negredo – Middlesbrough vs Burnley, 1500 KO
Negredo is in a good streak of form, and is looking the deadly striker he was a few years ago that secured him a big move to Man City. He is 8/5 to bag anytime, and 4/1 to score first today against a decent Burnley side. It could well be a one goal game, but if its going to be anyone – it’s more likely to be Negredo!
Dmitri Payet – West Ham vs Swansea, 1500 KO
Since Payet’s horror show against Man Utd in the League Cup a few weeks ago, he has looked a much better player, securing MOTM a couple of times and weighing in with excellent performances. Against a Swansea team getting a battering most weeks, he should feature heavily. He is 13/5 to score A/T and 17/2 to score first – and given his ability from distance and set pieces – not a bad shout!
Elias Kachunga – Huddersfield vs Notts Forest, 1500 KO
Kachunga took his time to settle, but has started to rattle in the goals. He seems to be scoring at least 1 in 2 at the moment, and against Forest, arguably one of the weakest defences in the league – he should have ample chances. 7/5 A/T, and 4/1 to score first.
Matty Taylor – Bristol Rovers vs Coventry, 1500 KO
Taylor has been the diamond of a free-scoring Rovers team – 13 goals this term, and when playing a below average Coventry side, who are 2nd bottom – and consider Taylor has 61 in his last 92 league games over the last three seasons (13 in 20 in 16/17 so far) – he is the prime suspect to inflict another defeat upon Coventry. 21/20 A/T and 4/1 first scorer.
If you go with A/T – this pays 45/1.
If you go FGS – this pays 1200/1.
My preferred set is Negredo A/T @ 8/5, Taylor FGS @ 4/1, Payet A/T @ 13/5 and Kachunga A/T @ 7/5 – which will bump it to around 105/1. Taylor is a man on fire (not unlike Denzel Washington…) and against Coventry he will be a huge threat. 21/20 A/T for him is incredible looking at his goals record.
Best of luck!
