The low risk bet was posted not so long ago – here is our medium risk acca for this weekend:
Stabaek vs Haugesund: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 1/1 (Norwegian Tippeligaen, 1630 KO – Sunday)
This looks an interesting game as you rarely get a bet like this over about 5/6 price wise – but with Stabaek a little goal-shy at home, there is a little bit as to why it is 1/1. However – Haugesund have scored 31 and conceded 29! That is an incredible amount, and add in 10 BTTS + Over 2.5 in their last 15 games – I have high hopes for this.
Their last 2 meetings, a mix of last season and this – 4-1 and 2-2. Stabaek should see this as a chance to get some points on the board as Haugesund are very poor defending.
Lillestrom vs Rosenborg: Rosenborg -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 21/20 (Norwegian Tippeligaen, 1700 KO – Saturday)
Rosenborg have won 9/9 at home, but just 3/8 away – with 4 draws coming recently. No surprise that the Champions League qualifying has taken precedent – but still they are a much better side that Lillestrom, who have lost 7 of their last 10 games, conceding 20 in said 10.
Look at the last 6 meets – 2-1, 5-0, 3-0, 2-0, 3-1 and 3-0 – all to Rosenborg, and looking at their forward options I can see why! Gytkjaer is in great form – scoring at a rate of a goal in every 2 games, while Per Helland has a 1 in 3 ratio. Vilhjalmsson is a pacey winger who causes problems, while Mushaga Bakenga has returned after 4 years at Brugge – and has 2 goals in his first game back!
They should win this, and win well. The Asian handicap gives a little safety, but I think they will romp it!
Ipswich Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 5/4 (vs Barnsley 15:00 KO, English Championship – Saturday)
Ipswich face off against Championship new boys Barnsley, Barnsley who actually finished 6th in League one but made their way through via the play-offs. Barnsley conceded 54 goals which was the highest in the top 8 of the table. Ipswich missed out on the play-offs by five points and managed 53 goals all term. Nothing is certain, but an opening day home fixture against a play off promoted team is about as good as it gets.
Hartlepool vs Colchester BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 5/4 (15:00 KO, English League Two – Saturday)
Hartlepool struggled last year finishing 16th they managed 49 goals whilst conceding 72. Colchester were relegated from League One finishing 23rd they scored 57 whilst conceding an amazing 99. Colchester will be much more at home with this level of opposition, although many times last season they looked out of their depth in League One they returned a decent amount of goals. Hartlepool’s goal-scoring record wasn’t particularly brilliant but it’s hard to look beyond Colchester’s colossal goals against tally.
This pays around 20/1
Best of luck
