With the low risk accumulator posted yesterday afternoon, the final one for the weekend is my 20/1 medium risk accumulator that covers both Saturday and Sunday. For those who missed it, our new system is based on an odds-based risk system, that varies from low (under 1/1), to medium (1/1 to 1.5/1) and high (Over 7/4).
This weekend’s medium risk acca comes from across the board – Denmark, Austria, Romania and Poland:
Sturm Graz vs Salzburg: Salzburg Win @ 6/5 (Austrian Bundesliga, 1730 KO)
Sturm have always been somewhat of a bogey team for Salzburg, but when you look at each game not won by Salzburg – they have had issues such as injury problems, or in some cases have been downright unlucky. Graz have lost a player or two, while Salzburg have added Marc Rzaktowski from St Pauli (12 goals in 85 games) and Fredrik Gulbrandson (16 goals in 33 games for Molde) as well as retaining talents such as Lazaro and Berisha.
It’s the first game of the season, and the odds are usually a little estimated from bookies. Salzburg are rarely ever 1/1 or above in any fixture, but with the likes of Soriano still there – I don’t see why they are!
Astra vs Din Bucharest: BTTS @ 1/1 (Romanian Liga I, 1900 KO)
These two are among the best in the Romanian league – baring Steaua. It’s usually a good game, with us winning multiple times on this exact bet! They met 5 times last season including the cup and split stage league – with results of 4-1, 4-2, 1-1, 2-1 and 1-0. 80% BTTS ratio! In the final weeks of the season, both were racking up the goals, while Bucharest were conceding in scores of 2’s and 3’s.
1/1 is a great price considering – I believe that the overall poor quality and low scoring matches in that particular league has driven this price up.
Esbjerg vs Copenhagen: Copenhagen -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 21/20 (Danish Superliga, 1600 KO)
This was part of the low risk accumulator, and although I never tend to use the same game twice – this is different as they are two completely different markets. Even a 1 goal win here would equal a void, and with Esbjerg starting badly and Copenhagen starting so well, added to the fact their record is impeccable against Esbjerg – it’s a good bet at a safe price.
The away side have an array of attacking talent – Federico Santander and Andreas Cornelius just two to name. A solid back four as well as a creative midfield make them likely winners and more than likely to be Champions again this season.
Termalica B-B vs Cracovia Warsaw: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 5/4 (Polish Ekstraklasa, 1430 KO – Sunday)
This is Sunday’s only game in the accumulator, and a good one at that!
Termalica did so well in the run-in last season they finished on a good note – while Cracovia managed to secure European football, and despite going out of that in the first qualifyng round, have started well this campaign with a 5-1 win last weekend. Termalica also won last weekend, and for me the key point is both concede plenty while scoring even more!
In their last 10 games, Termalica have scored 16 and conceded 10. Cracovia – scored 17, conceded 15. The two meets last season ended 1-1 and 3-2, and with both in good form and confidence high in both camps, I think it will be a high scorer!
As mentioned – a 20/1 accumulator – my top double for those looking for a smaller bet would have to be Salzburg @ 6/5 and Copenhagen -1 Asian Handicap @ 21/20 for a 4/1 double.
Best of luck
