4/6 at the weekend – Sturm/St Polten and Fulham/Palace both ended 2-0, the rest landed quite comfortably. Anderlecht-Charleroi finished 2-1, Wolves-Everton 2-2, Haladas-Puskas 2-1 and Streda-Ruzomberok 2-2.
For the upcoming midweek period, we mix the Champions League and Europa League once again in the biggest price yet, around the 80/1 mark.
2 games Tuesday, 4 Thursday with a mix of Over 2.5 Goals and Team Goals:
Trnava vs Red Star Belgrade: RSB Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 5/4 (1930 KO, Tuesday)
Red Star missed a hell of a lot of chances in the first leg and allowed Trnava to score from one of just a couple of chances. With the away goal in their oppositions hands, I think they will take their chances this time away from their expectant home crowd. 5/4 to score two looks excellent value!
Spartak Moscow vs PAOK: Over 2.5 Goals @ 19/20 (1830 KO, Tuesday)
This game ended 2-3 last time, and I don’t see any reason the 2nd leg won’t be any different. PAOK will try to end it early, while Spartak need a goal to force the result. Both sides offensively excellent as proven with PAOK in the previous rounds. Promes the key man for Spartak, Prijovic for PAOK. Potentially the tie of the night!
Craiova vs Leipzig: Leipzig Over 2.5 Team Goals @ 5/4 (1730 KO, Thursday)
Leipzig had 23 shots in the first leg, 11 on target, 16 corners…and so on. Should have scored more, Craiova nicked a goal from their 2 shots and ruined our bet last week, but not before Zenit and Feyenoord beat them to the punch. I think this time around, they will put them to bed and once a goal goes in the Romanians will fold easily. Chance for the younger stars in the RB side to shine, and I hope they take it.
APOEL vs Beer Sheva: Over 2.5 Goals @ 1/1 (1800 KO, Thursday)
Beer Sheva had so many chances last time and were 2-0 up before HT, but still blew it. Now at 2-2, all to play for and both sides will know the other has their number. I hope for an open, end to end tie rather than a cagey affair.
HJK vs Ljubljana: Over 2.5 Goals @ 6/5 (1700 KO, Thursday)
HJK are all about goals in the Finnish leagues, and are probably the best team for Over 2.5, and with them being 3-0 down to Ljubljana they will need them. This will certainly be an open game, with one side needing 3 goals and the other one away from making it 5!
Maribor vs Rangers: Over 2.5 Goals @ 11/10 (1915 KO, Thursday)
First leg ended 3-1 to Rangers, and Maribor missed some chances! It could easily have been much different, but with Rangers away from home and clearly not the best defensively – I can see Maribor having a real crack at them. Similarly to a few other games above, one goal from the away side means Maribor will need three, just to take it to extra-time.
Best of luck!
