With the latter rounds of the Champions League Qualifying on for the next 2 days, and the Europa League Qualifying the day after – I was kind of hoping Bet365 would price up markets, but as we speak/type – they have not. William Hill have over 100 up for all matches, so I will look and post another, higher priced accumulator in an hour or two.
Four fold low risk accumulator, starting with a game today, a game Wednesday and two on Thursday:
Ajax vs PAOK: Ajax Win @ 4/6 (Champions League, 1945 KO – Tuesday)
This is the next instalment in the £10-100 challenge – and for me good value even if it’s below 1/1.
As mentioned in that piece – a host of cracking players, against a team of a mixture of Greeks, and low rent failed European players who didn’t quite cut it at the highest level. At home, I can’t see Ajax losing!
Rosenborg vs APOEL Nicosia: Rosenborg Win @ 3/4 (Champions League, 1815 KO – Wednesday)
Rosenborg are around mid-way through their season and are in fine form. A 6-0 win on the weekend over Haugesund will give them an excellent springboard in which to go into this game, and at home, against Nicosia – a fairly average team from Cyprus – they really should win this if they want to get in the Group Stages of the Champions League. Christian Kytkjaer and Per Helland are two main threats, with the former currently having 8 in 15 starts and the latter averaging 1 in 3 with just over 20 goals in 60 games.
Home advantage is huge – and they should have a lead going into the 2nd leg.
Torpedo Belaz vs Rapid Vienna: Rapid Vienna Win @ 5/6 (Europa League, 1800 KO – Thursday)
Rapid are an exciting young team – consisting of a lot of Austrian U21’s, teamed with the experience of others who did not quite make in into the national side. They have the experience of captain Steffan Hofmann – who has made over 300 apps for the away side, while loanee Joelinton has impressed so far since his move from Hoffenheim – 4 goals in 6 games.
When a team is odds on away from home – it says they are very much expected to win both legs. At home, they will be at most 1/2 to win, and with this competition a big part of their season, as well as an important once for the money earned – they will take this very seriously and should win this.
Domzale vs West Ham: West Ham -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 17/20 (Europa League, 1945 KO – Thursday)
West Ham went out last season rather embarrassingly to Astra. Under Slaven Bilic, this time I don’t think they will fail.
New signings of Gokhan Tore and Sofiane Feghouli are good signs – both attacking wingers with bags of pace. Both might feature, and with the squad at near full-strength – I think they will cause a decent Domzale side a lot of problems. Payet is more than likely still on his holidays after Euro 2016, but apart from him, and maybe Diafra Sakho – most are fit and will travel. 1/2 for the win, but I think they will score 2/3 and not concede. The Asian Handicap gives a price of close to 1/1 to add plenty to this acca.
With Bet365, this pays around 8/1. With William Hill, it’s nearer 9/1.
Best of luck
