With the weekend accumulator fetching 4 wins from 6, it was a frustrating one. Salzburg were a goal short, while Trencin had a bad game for the first time in a long time! For Tuesday and Wednesday – I have picked another 6 games that combine for a 22/1 bet – 3 games each day between 1/2 and 4/5:
Como vs Cagliari: Cagliari Win @ 4/5 (Italian Serie B, 1930 KO)
Value Tip: Cagliari -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 6/4
This is a bit of a mis-match. Cagliari are 2nd in the league and heading for promotion. They are nearly 10 points ahead of the next placed team, so have some wiggle room incase of a few points being dropped. Como on the other hand are pretty much relegated, and are bottom of the table. With better players on show, and even though they can be hit and miss away from home, I think 4/5 is excellent value.
Ruch Chorzow vs Legia Warsaw: Legia Warsaw Win @ 7/10 (Polish Ekstraklasa, 1930 KO)
Value Tip: Legia Win + Over 2.5 Goals @ 13/8
This looks a good game. Ruch have lost 4 games in their last 5 at home, conceding 13 in the process. Legia on the other hand are top of the away form table, with 9 wins from 15 games. The last four meetings have ended 2-0, 4-1, 0-0 and 2-0 – with Legia winning all three. They are in the Championship stage now, so mistakes could cost Legia. 7/10, away from home – a good price that adds plenty to the accumulator
Newcastle vs Man City: Man City Win @ 8/13 (Premier League, 1945 KO)
Value Tip: Man City -1 Goal Handicap @ 11/8
Even though the home side here won on the weekend, Man City should have way too much firepower for them to handle. Last time Aguero scored a handful and they won 6-0. Newcastle will be pumped, rejuvenated…whatever word you want to use – but no matter, City even half on form could demolish them. They are in a battle themselves for the top four, and would preferably get a top 3 spot as that would mean direct entry into next season’s Champions League group stage.
Heerenveen vs Ajax: Ajax Win @ 6/10 (Dutch Eredivisie, 1945 KO)
Value Tip: Ajax + Over 2.5 Goals @ 5/4
Ajax are in a big battle with PSV for the title, and cannot afford any slips now. They are in very good form and are better away from home than at home amazingly. 12 wins from 15 – and a great record against a poor Heerenveen who are poor at home. The last four meetings have ended 5-2, 4-1, 4-1 and 3-0 to Ajax.
Dukla Prague vs Sparta Prague: Sparta Win @ 3/4 (Czech Synot Liga, 1830 KO)
This is a derby in the Czech Republic, not quite Sparta vs Slavia, but still. Dukla are mid-table and safe from relegation. Sparta had an amazing run in the Europa League, but their league form suffered dramatically. Now they are out, their form in the league should pick up and there won’t be many better chances than a team they have a great record against. They have won 4 of the last 5 and very easily!
Basel vs Lugano: Basel HT-FT @ 4/6 (Swiss Super League, 1845 KO)
With only around 8 games to go, Basel are close to securing another title.
For this game though, value is at a premium. HT-FT looks the best option as they have an excellent record for it. 6/12 home wins have been HT-FT, while 6 of Lugano’s losses have also happened in such a manner. All three games this season between the two have ended in such a way, with 3-1, 3-1 and 4-1 wins for the home side. They were leading 1-0, 2-1 and 4-0 at half time, and went on to win so all four were good in this market. Lugano have the worst away record – 9 losses in 14 games, while also losing 7-0 on the weekend!
The 6 fold accumulator pays around 22/1, while if you go for the value four-fold, it pays 35/1.
Best of luck
