Fantastic weekend – 7/10 on the Preview, with 5/6 on the secondary tips including 3/1, 8/5, 7/5 and 6/5 tips in those. 5/1 Accumulator win Saturday, and a 12.5/1 double winner on the Sunday which comprised of 11/4 and 13/5 tips – as well as 5 out of 6 on the 380/1 accumulator, which Zenit let us down on.
Today is looking decidedly iffy. There are a couple of decent looking games in Holland, but include a lot of the Jong-teams like Ajax, Twente and PSV, whom all had games either yesterday or Saturday so the likelyhood of some of the better players getting a game is lower. I have just two games – one in Czech Republic and one in Portugal – both Evens tips, both very statistically likely!
1. Maritimo-Nacional BTTS @ Evens (NAP) (Portuguese Liga Zon Sagre, 2000 KO)
Let’s get straight to the stats – at home Maritimo’s last 5 games reads BTTS in 4/5 in the league and 3/5 overall, while Nacional have a record of 5/5 overall and away from home, and those include the likes of Benfica and Rio Ave. In terms of previous meetings – when Maritimo are at home in this fixture, 4 in the last 5 games. Overall, just 3/5 but with Nacional in pretty poor away form but still finding goals, I like this one!
2. Teplice-Plzen Over 2.5 Goals @ Evens (Czech Synot Liga, 1700 KO)
Teplice are among very few teams who have a good record against Plzen, who are one of two sides that challenge for the league each season with Sparta Prague. These two faced off in the Cup twice in the last 10 days and both games ended 2-1. The home side usually win this game, with no away win for either side for a while, dating back at least 5 games. Onto the Stats – in Teplice’ 11 home games this season, 7 have gone over 2.5 while 4 have stayed under, averaging 3 goals per game (overall – 11 over, 12 under). For Plzen away – 8 over, 4 under (3.2 goals per game – and a total of 14 over, 9 under in 23 games this season). Like mentioned, in the last 5 meets, 2 results of 2-1 and one of 4-3, as well as 2 1-0’s.
As a double that would pay 3/1 – normally I would try and find another 2 games to make a decent sized accumulator but that has not really worked, so sticking with games I am very sure of, baring any bad luck. My NAP (top tip) is the BTTS game, but it was a close call.
Today should finally see a couple of March reviews from myself and Jamie – been ready for a few days but wanted to find a better time to post them.
Anyway, best of luck for the day’s football!
