Football Tips // Saturday Accumulator // 29.10.16

The last weekend in October is upon us – and today I have selected six games between the odds of around 1/2 and 5/6 in what is 25/1 accumulator. Rather than the BTTS market, I have gone for 6 straight wins, 3 in England and 3 abroad.

Time wise, they vary from between 1330 and 1900, with the first game in the Czech Republic, and the last in the evening Swiss league – with Champions’ Basel playing Grasshoppers:

(1) Frydek-Mistek vs Sigma Olomouc: S Olomouc Win @ 5/6 (1330 KO)

This game takes place in the Czech 2nd division, and is kind of the equivalent of the Championship. Olomouc, rather like Newcastle at the moment – are dominating the league and look like going back up. Their away form is excellent – 5 wins and a draw in 6. Mistek are rather poor, and have lost heavily to Olomouc in their four meetings. 5/6 is a great price!

(2) Preston vs Newcastle: Newcastle Win @ 4/6 (1500 KO, Championship)

This game was played in midweek, and Newcastle won 6-0 after Alan Browne was sent off. With the likes of Gayle, Lascelles and Shelvey coming back in, Newcastle are heavy favourites for this, but despite the easy win this won’t be quite the same. Still expect a win, but maybe only by a goal or two.

(3) Scunthorpe vs Swindon: Scunthorpe Win @ 4/6 (1500 KO, League One)

Scunthorpe are top of the table, and Swindon are 20th. In their previous meet, Scunthorpe won 6-0, and with the home side being unbeaten so far, and their goalscoring ability with Josh Morris scoring freely – they should be winning this sort of game.

(4) Crystal Palace vs Liverpool: Liverpool Win @ 8/11 (1730 KO, Premier League)

This should be interesting – Liverpool have been in imperious form so far this season, whereas Palace, with ex-Liverpool man Benteke leading the line – have been indifferent. I don’t see Palace keeping them at bay, and at 8/11 they are terrific value!

(5) AZAL PFK vs Qarabag: Qarabag HT-FT @ 8/11 (Azerbaijan Premier, 1400 KO)

Qarabag are 1/5 on to win this, and beat this team 6-0 around 6 weeks ago. They have won 6/9 games this season, with 5 of those being HT-FT wins. The opposition are bottom of the league, conceding over 20 goals so far, scoring just four and losing all but two games – whilst also failing to win a game. Should be a fairly easy game for them

(6) Grasshoppers vs Basel: Basel Win @ 7/10 (1900 KO, Swiss Super League)

Grasshoppers are a team that can score heavily, but their issue is conceding – over 25 goals in just 12 games so far. Basel have won 10/12 – and have only conceded 10, but scored over 30. 7/10 is great value considering their record against them.

All very good value bets considering the form – there may be a few away games, but that’s what creates the added value. If the away games today were at home, they would be massive odds on – I’d doubt this same bet would pay any more than 10/1
