Was a very good night last night, with only a risky Spain-Ukraine BTTS not landing, the other three tips did – Sweden + Under 2.5 @ 2/1, England -2 @ 6/5 and Slovakia -2 @ 13/10.
Today I am sticking by my guns in picking four games that were in my preview – slightly altered markets to give a better price:
1. Iceland Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 5/4, Holland -1 Goal @ 5/4, Italy Win to Nil @ 2/1, Bosnia Over 3.5 Team Goals @ 6/4 – 35/1
Iceland really should score 2 against a weak Kazakhstani side, with their firepower being very good. Holland have a whole host of class players that should overcome a very poor Turkish team. Bosnia – well, they play Andorra and I can see at least 4-6 goals in that one, with Bosnia needing a lot of points to get back on track. Lastly Italy play Bulgaria, whom they beat 1-0 in the last set of qualifying. Strong defence, iffy attack – I see a 1-0 or 2-0 win, but rather than go Win + Under 2.5 (which in effect needs one of those two results) I have picked Win to Nil incase they bag a 3rd. Bulgaria look poor all over the park, so I’m really not expecting them to be troubling the Italians.
Very close myself last night – went with a treble @ 18/1 (did not include Sweden foolishly) but have backed this today, getting odds of 33/1 with SkyBet (William Hill have not priced up Bosnia-Andorra yet, annoyingly…).
Best of luck!
