Morning all

Yesterday was quite unbelievable – Walsall, who had conceded 2 in 7 away games – conceded 4 to Colchester, while Gillingham played rather poorly in a 1-1 draw. Debrecen dominated most of the game, fell behind then levelled in injury time – and as for Nice, they gifted a winless team their first of the season…All statistically were good bets, let down by poor performances.

Today I have picked 3 tips – the first of which is starting at 12:

1. Newcastle-Sunderland BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 5/4 (Premier League, 1200 KO)

Newcastle demolished Norwich last weekend, scoring 6 goals and gaining a lot of confidence going into the Derby. Sunderland on the other hand drew 2-2 with West Ham and remain bottom, with Jeremain Lens suspended after two bookable offences. I honestly cannot see either keeping a clean sheet – with both having good attacking options – such as Wijnaldum, Mitrovic and Perez for Newcastle – and Defoe, M’vila and Johnson for Sunderland. Both have conceded 19 in 9 games, with Newcastle scoring more – 12 to 8. If McClaren get’s this right, Newcastle could win this easily!

2. Rapid Vienna-Austria Vienna BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 6/5 (Austrian Bundesliga, 1630 KO)

Rapid vs Austria is usually a cracker. The last 5 games have ended with scores of 5-2, 4-1, 2-1, 3-2 and 2-2, with 2 wins apiece. Both teams average around 2 goals per game (scoring) and a goal per game (conceding). Rapid have 4 BTTS + Over 2.5’s in their last 5 home games, while Austria have recorded a couple in their last 5 games – but like the above game it’s huge in Vienna. Massive grudge match!

3. Portimonense Win @ 5/4 vs Oriental (Portuguese 2nd Division, 1500 KO – NAP)

Portimonense have won 5 of their last 5 both overall and away from home (all competitions), while in the league they have won 4 from 6 away games. Oriental have lost four of their 5 home games, with 15 conceded. At 5/4, this is very generously priced, and I feel the value bet of the day!

There were numerous other games I quite liked, but with none did the stats line up nicely enough to give me enough reason to back. BTTS + Over 2.5 in the Manchester derby was tempting, as was Lazio-Torino over 2.5 @ 21/20. Sticking with the 10/1 treble!

Best of luck
