Not getting any luck at the moment – West Ham drew 2-2 yesterday, while Nice-Nantes was postponed after 45 minutes. Zrinjski lost 1-0, and in the BTTS + Over 2.5 goals accumulator just one of four landed, with one being BTTS, another being over 2.5 and the 4th having just a goal between two teams that in their combined 20 games had 69 goals.
For today – I am just sticking to a confident double:
1. Man Utd Draw No Bet @ 7/4 vs Arsenal (1600 KO, Premier League)
Man Utd are looking pretty good at the moment without really playing well. Arsenal on the other hand look pretty average and are conceding a lot of goals, and making mistakes that top teams would punish. At 7/4 for Draw No Bet, I think it is unbelievable value since Arsenal have not beaten Man Utd at home since January 2011, with 2 draws and 2 losses since. William Hill are offering 8/1 on Martial to score and Man Utd to win – regular price of 9/2. Good value – and a little safety. Should be a cracker as they always are!
2. Trelleborgs -1 Goal Asian Handicap @ 6/5 vs Oddevold (1600 KO, Swedish Division 1 – Sodra – NAP)
This is my first dabble into the Asian Handicap system and to me it does look very useful. Usually a -1 handicap would mean you need a 2-0 win, but in the Asian system, a 1-0 win means you get a refund/the bet is voided. Trelleborgs -1 Handicap is 8/5, but the Asian Handicap is 11/10 – better value and safer. Trelleborgs have won 9 of their last 10 away games, which means with the asian handicap you would have lost once, and won 4 further times with 5 voids (they have won a few 2-1). Oddevold have lost 4 games in their last 5, and with Trelleborgs terrific strength in blowing opponents away – teamed with their away record and a 4-1 win in the previous game – I think this provides excellent value!
3. Basel Win @ 6/5 vs Zurich (1500 KO, Swiss Super League)
Basel have won 8 of their last 10 away games, and scored at least 3 in 7 of those! Zurich on the other hand are bottom of the table, and have lost 3 of their last 5 home games and won just 2 of 10 at home. Basel have won 7/10 overall, but their issue is defending – conceding in 9 of those 10 games! They have also won the last 5 meetings, and Win + BTTS @ 5/2 looks good value – however just the win is safer @ 6/5!
That pays 11.75/1 – and for me is a very good shot since there is a void option for both, if Man Utd draw and if Trelleborgs only win by one goal, which I believe is the bare minimum that could happen in both games!
There are a few offers about today which I think you should know about:
1. Anthony Martial A/T + Man Utd Win @ 8/1 (William Hill)
Martial looks a cracking young player and has scored 3 Premier League goals so far, and more in the Champions League. Arsenal’s defence is rather suspect, and with Mata, Rooney and Depay providing – I think he will score. The regular price is about 9/2, and another I like is 2+ @ 12/1.
2. Harry Kane A/T + Tottenham Win @ 5/1 (William Hill)
Kane has only scored a couple this season but is gradually getting better and better – he’s looking more the player he was last season. Tottenham have beaten Swansea in their last 5 games, and with the Welsh side losing three of their last 5 games and Spurs smashing Man City – you’d have to fancy the North London side.
3. Risk Free £50 In-Play Bet on Man Utd vs Arsenal (Bet 365)
365 have brought back their risk free in-play bet for today’s Arsenal-Man Utd game. Basically – stake upto £50 pre-match on the game, and then your first in-play bet is basically risk free – if it loses, you get a refund, and if it wins it wins! I really fancy Utd in this match, and with them to win @ 14/5 and the draw @ 14/5 – any bet on them, and then an in-play on the draw would hopefully see good profit. If Man Utd got the first goal, you could lay the bet off by backing Arsenal with another bookmaker to guarantee profit – though should Arsenal score first it wouldn’t be ideal. Arsenal are 1/1, so unless they take the lead they will only lengthen in price. The max bet is £50 – and there are loads of markets – definitely one to take advantage of!
Best of luck!
