Yesterday was pretty good! Our NAP of Crystal Palace Over 1.5 Team Goals @ 2/1 landed with ease, as well as 6/9 correct picks and even an 11/1 single tip via Twitter around 1 hour before the AZ-Heerenveen game (BTTS Both Halves @ 11/1).
Today I have picked 6 games – a mixture of match results, BTTS, Win + Over 2.5 Goals and Over 3.5 Goals – all Evens or above:
1. Rapid Vienna-Salzburg Over 3.5 Goals @ 15/8 (Austrian Bundesliga, 1700 KO)
This game has had both score in the last 5, with all going at least over 2.5, and over 3.5 in two of those. Rapid are in very good form with 5 wins from 5 at home, while Salzburg have won 3/5 away – and 4 of those were over 3.5 goals. Salzburg’s Over 3.5 record this season reads 17 over, 10 under, which is incredible! Only 8/27 of Rapid Vienna’s games have gone over 3.5, but this is one that really could. Red Bull have lost Sadio Mane and Kevin Kampl recently, which I think has hit them hard, but still they are winning the league, just 6 points clear of Rapid. Basically, this season Salzburg average 4.1 goals per game (overall, not just them), while Rapid average 2.9 per game. Should be a very good game.
2. Chelsea Win + Over 2.5 Goals @ Evens vs QPR (English Premier League, 1330 KO)
Chelsea have won 4/5 away from home – with four of those going over 2.5 goals, while QPR have lost their last 5 home games, three of which went over 2.5 goals. Their last 5 games overall have all gone over 2.5 goals. Chelsea on the other hand have been conceding to fairly poor teams – 2 vs Hull and one vs Villa. QPR are under immense pressure after Leicester won, but Chelsea should romp this one. Costa will not start, but ex QPR striker Loic Remy is a more than good replacement! Expecting Chelsea to score 3+.
3. Aberdeen Win @ Evens vs Kilmarnock (Scottish Premier League, 1215 KO)
Aberdeen have gone off the rails recently, their impressive defensive record going to pot. They have won 2/5 away, with 2 draws, while Killie have lost 2/5 at home – the winning factor for me is that Aberdeen have won the last 6 meetings between the two, and three of the last 5 away meets. Evens is great value!
4. Astra-Steaua Bucharest BTTS @ Evens (Romanian Liga I, 1730 KO)
These two met last month, and Astra won 2-0. Bucharest are in a better place now than they were then – and with Targu Mures (a newly promoted side) just a point off them, they need a win. The Romanian league is a fairly low scoring one, with both of these conceding less than 20 goals in 25 games – but when they face off it’s when the goals happen – in the last 5 games played at Astra’s home ground, 3 have ended BTTS. Steaua have been conceding some cheap goals recently – losing to Petrolul, but more worryingly conceding to Viitorul and Gaz Metan, both mid-to-lower table sides.
5. Real Betis Win + Over 2.5 Goals @ 19/10 vs Barcelona B
This game was in our Preview for the weekend, with all form discussed at length then. To summarise – Barca B are very good going forward, but so poor at the back – scoring 40 this season while conceding 57. Betis have won 3 of their last 5 games + Over 2.5, including some of the higher teams in the league. I can see Barcelona B scoring, but Betis should score 2/3 goals.
6. Man Utd-Man City Over 3.5 Goals @ 2/1 (English Premier League, 1600 KO)
When playing at Old Trafford, this fixture never fails to deliver! There have been several high scoring games – 6-1, 3-1 and so on. City have won the last 3 games at OT, but go into this game on the back of 4 consecutive away losses in all competitons. Man Utd on the other hand have 5 wins in 5 home game with three of those ending 3-1. This should be a cracker!
As an Accumulator, that pays 200/1! But, I’m splitting into two bets:
1. Astra-S Bucharest BTTS, Betis + Over 2.5 Goals, Chelsea + Over 2.5 Goals, Aberdeen Win – 22/1
2. Man Utd-Man City Over 3.5 Goals / Salzburg-R Vienna Over 3.5 Goals – 7.5/1
My NAP for today is Betis + Over 2.5 Goals @ 19/10
Best of luck!
