This is something I like to do each weekend – 8 games between 1/2 and 4/5 that form a chunky sized accumulator between the odds of 30 and 50/1.
Last weekend it started oh so well – Saturday saw wins for Scunthorpe and Hibernian, handicap wins for Inter and Chelsea…but then Lazio lost 1-0 to Chievo, when they had dominated the whole game but not managed to score.
Sunday was then a complete nightmare. Barcelona drew with Betis, Fenerbache got hammered by Kayserispor and then Olympiakos failed to win by two against Veria.
8 more for the weekend – hard to find value but there are a handful of home teams I really like in this:
Benfica vs Nacional: Benfica -1 Goal Handicap @ 1/2 (Sunday)
Benfica in great form – Nacional struggling. Can see this being a 3/4 goal win.
At Madrid vs Leganes: At Madrid -1 Goal Handicap @ 5/6 (Saturday)
Madrid have been iffy on their travels, but at home more reliable. Leganes form has been poor all season, and although half decent away – I don’t see them dealing with Atletico’s talents.
Basel vs Lugano: Basel -1 Goal Handicap @ 4/6 (Saturday)
The leagues best side take on the 3rd worst away team, who have conceded over 20 goals. Before their draw in their last league away game, they lost 5 on the spin conceding 19. Basel have won 8 of 9 home games and are unbeaten.
Twente vs Feyenoord: Feyenoord Win @ 8/11 (Sunday)
Feyenoord look like they could finally win a league title for the first time in ages. They take on a decent Twente side, but are in incredible form themselves so this looks a great bet.
Levante vs Gimnastic: Levante Win @ 4/7 (Sunday)
Top vs Bottom. Levante have dropped just 4 points at home all season, winning 9 of 11. Gimnastic have been awful, and another win for Levante is on the cards.
Doncaster vs Morecambe: Doncaster Win @ 2/5 (Saturday)
Donny are another that have been in cracking home form – just 6 points dropped over 14 games at the Keepmoat Stadium – against a Morecambe side in no form whatsoever.
Bristol City vs Rotherham: Br City Win @ 1/2 (Saturday)
City may be struggling, but Rotherham are worse! 14 losses in 15 away games, they are very nearly dead in the water. City have signed Matty Taylor, and alongside Tammy Abraham, they could rediscover the form of the start of the season which had them in the top 6.
Dundee Utd vs Raith: Dundee Win @ 1/2 (Saturday)
Dundee Utd have had a poor run of late, but 4 of their 5 games have been away – and when at home they are unbeaten this season with 7 wins and 3 daws. Raith – very unconvincing away, and poor form in general make this a decent bet!
Overall this pays in the region of 40/1 – I have tried to stick with the majority of markets that people can access as sometimes I get carried away and pick certain things that a lot of bookies online don’t do.
Best of luck!
