3/3 this week so far! Basel won 3-1 last night, in what was a nervy affair after being 2-1 up and under pressure for much of the last 20 minutes or so. Some of the match results have been very nerve racking recently – so today I am going back to the Corners market for the NAP – best site for Corners betting seems to be Bet365 – which is what I use most of the time when finding bets.
1. Napoli Over 5.5 Corners @ Evens (NAP) (Serie A, 1945 KO)
Napoli face a decent Empoli side – after a rough few weeks with the Europa League affecting league form a little, especially away form, where Napoli have lost 4/5 games. Corners is a different matter though – Overall they have had 8, 5, 4, 5 and 8 corners, while away from home they have had 5, 5, 6, 6 and 7 respectively in their last 5. In the previous meeting in December with Empoli, the Naples team had 9, and with a near full strength squad I think they will push through the corner barrier of 6 quite easily. Some early sustained pressure should hopefully see it land, and a 5th in a row for us.
2. Servette Win @ Evens vs Biel (Swiss Challenge League, 1845 KO)
This was so nearly my NAP, but with several draws each, I could not be absolutely 100% sure of it. Servette are a good bet in this game, with 4 wins in the last 5 meetings – but Biel are in good home form, while Servette themselves have drawn 3 of their last 5 games against weaker opposition, including Biel a few weeks ago, as well as Wil, Chiasso and Le Mont, who are all in the bottom few.
3. Galatasaray Win + Over 2.5 Goals @ 13/10 vs Sivasspor (Turkish Kupasi, 1830 KO)
Gala have won 4 of their last 5 meetings with this side, all of which went over 2.5 goals. Scores of 3-2, 2-1, 2-1 and 4-2 makes for good reading statistically. In 4 of their last 5 home games vs Sivasspor they have done the same, while in their last 5 home games in the league/cup – 3 wins + over 2.5 goals. Sivasspor are in decent nick, but I fancy Gala to run riot and win 3/4-1.
This treble pays around the 10/1 mark – so close yesterday to a double to go with my NAP, but AIK conceded to what was Atvidabergs only shot on target last night…just our luck! Braga did come into my thinking today – but at 3-0 up from the first leg) there are too many possibilities – such as them sitting back knowing only a 3-0 loss could possibly take it to extra time or even a loss.
Best of luck
