2 goals off a full house yesterday – NAP won @ 13/10 (Tomsk) who had a man sent off in the last 20 minutes and hung on for dear life! CFR Cluj also won 3-1, while Coventry missed a 2nd half penalty which cost them as they drew 2-2. Lincoln-Gateshead BTTS + Over 2.5 was a goal short, with Lincoln having 20 shots and not managing to score somehow.
Today we have our NAP in the German leagues, while a BTTS + Over 2.5 Accumulator in the Johnstones Paint Trophy:
1. RW Essen Win @ 23/20 vs Wattenscheid (1915 KO, German Regionalliga West)
Essen won their last game 9-1 (even scoring an own goal) and despite both teams having a W1/D1/L1 record this sseason, it’s previous meetings that gives me a good feeling about this game. Essen won 3-0 away and 6-0 at home last season and have a very good away record in general. Wattenscheid finished in the bottom 5 last season, and lost 17 of their 34 league games. Essen on the other hand finished 5th in an impressive campaign. 9 goals conceded in 2 ties in the 14/15 season should see them having a few nightmares – and I think Essen will score a couple and win.
BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals Accumulator – Johnstone’s Paint Trophy
1. Millwall-Peterborough @ 11/10 (1945 KO)
Peterborough’s last 5 fixtures: 2-1, 2-1, 3-1, 4-1 + 1-1. Good offensively, poor at the back. Could see a few changes from both sides. Millwall have a record in the market of 3 in 6 this season – both teams are struggling so this should be a very good game. Both have good offensive players, Marquis and Onyendinma stand out for the home side, while the likes of Maddison and Washington are ones to watch for Peterborough.
2. Port Vale-Carlisle @ 7/5 (1945 KO)
It’s League One vs League Two in this tie – and the away side are extremely high scorers. Jabo Ibehre has 7 goals already, but despite looking good up top, they are leaking goals. Port Vale were expected to struggle but have begun well and although they don’t have a strong record in this sort of market, there are frailties there to see and with Carlisle’s strength being their attack – I see goals. Carlisle have not kept a clean sheet all season with BTTS landing in all 7 fixtures, and Over 2.5 in 5 of the 7.
3. Accrington-Bury @ 6/5 (1945 KO)
Bury, like Carlisle – cannot keep a clean sheet. With BTTS + Over 2.5 landing in nearly all their games, Accrington will see this as a chance to one-up their local rivals. Their record isn’t brilliant (BTTS in 4/6 games this season. In their two meetings last season, one ended 2-1, the other was a 1-0 win. Should be a fiery game, a few cards on the cards I’d think.
4. Notts County-Mansfield @ 6/5 (1945 KO)
These two have already met this season. The game ended 2-0 to Mansfield, but with Notts County’s side gelling together as many as nearly 20 new signings, the first few weeks are tough, which they are finding. They have a record of 4 BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals in 7 games (5 BTTS) while Mansfield have a record of 4 BTTS in 6, and 2 of those four are + Over 2.5 too. The Cup is a different ballgame though, and I see plenty of goals in this game!
This accumulator pays roughly 25/1 with Bet365, and 27/1 with William Hill.
Best of luck!
