Yesterday looked so good until Bromley conceded a last minute equalizer to Maidenhead to draw 4-4. Oberhuasen won 3-0, NEC won 2-1 and my NAP, Eastleigh won 2-1. Besiktas-Istanbul BTTS ended 0-0, after over 30 shots, and 10 on target – but if that won the 15/1 acca would have been ruined by Bromley, which would have hurt, a lot!
Today I am looking mainly at the Corner markets. There is not a lot of value about in the regular markets, and I found some cracking value in this market:
1. QPR-Villa Under 10.5 Corners @ 1/1
These two sides do not get a lot of corners. In Villa’s last 5 games, they have got 2, 4, 5, 0 and 2 corners. QPR’s last 5 games read 4, 1, 3, 3 and 1 corners respectively. This season’s meeting ended 4-2 (in corners). QPR away are pretty poor, so I’m expecting Villa to win on corners, and possibly the match. Should be a low corner count.
2. At Madrid Over 7.5 Corners @ 11/10 vs Sociedad
Atletico’s last 5 home games have the following corner count – 10, 6, 11, 2 and 8 – the two under 7.5’s were against Valencia and R Madrid. Sociedad, away from home, concede a lot of corners, and in their last 5 games have the following corner counts against them – 12, 6, 9, 6, 10 – and the two 6’s were against Almeria and Getafe, who are both struggling in the league. Home sides often have more corners, which goes with more possession. Very hopeful on this bet, good price!
3. Blackpool-Reading Under 10 Corners @ 11/8
Blackpool were relegated yesterday, and with them being in such awful form – not surprising. The last 3 meetings have ended with the following corner counts: 7-4, 8-5, 3-4 (not sure which way around). However this time, Reading are not at home, which they were for 2 of those games, while they are also in bad form. Blackpool could well be in a glum mood, and will simply be going through the motions for the last 6 games. Could make betting against them easier.
4. Motherwell -1 Corner Handicap @ 13/10 vs St Mirren
These two sit 11th and 12th in the league, so this could be a pretty poor game. Motherwell are in average form, while St Mirren’s is worse. Motherwell seem to do well on corners – their last 5 games have had the following score: 9-2, 8-3, 2-7, 11-3, 8-4 – at least -1 in 4 of the last 5, and the one that was not was against Aberdeen. St Mirren’s last 5 games have the following score: 2-5, 1-3, 8-5, 10-5, 1-4. At home, Motherwell would have to be favourites for the match, and on the corners markets.
If you do this as an Accumulator, it pays around 21/1. All these bets can be found on Bet365, which offer the greatest range of bets for the Corners markets. A lot of other bookies have not priced up some of these yet – but I would imagine prices would be vaguely similar. If you cannot find the exact bets, please mail us for suggestions, or go with the closest you can find.
Best of luck,
