A poor couple of days – Monday’s NAP drastically failed after over 30 shots and no goals. Yesterday’s looked good at one point, and then Madrid threw it away with some poor tackling and shocking attacking – Ramos really costing them dearly with such poor passing from central midfield.
Today we have a nice looking double, as well as the NAP – going back to the corners market, with a bet I found looking good value:
1. Barcelona-Bayern Under 9 Corners @ 7/5 (NAP) (Champions League, 1945 KO)
In Barcelona’s 2 legs with PSG there were 6 and 8 corners. In Bayern’s 2 with Porto there were 5 and 9. Against Shakhtar, there were 4 in the away leg for Bayern. With Robben, Ribery, Alaba and Badstuber all out, and Lewandowski possibly playing with a broken nose/jaw – their front line is not in good shape. Barcelona are at full strength, bar Jeremy Mathieu who is injured. As mentioned in the preview – these two do not shoot unless they have a great shot at scoring, and with such good keepers on show, I can’t see many parried shots.
Real-Juve only had 6 corners – and I can see a similar game today.
2. Benfica B Win @ 13/10 vs Maritimo B (Portuguese Segunda, 1600 KO)
Maritimo are relegated – 9 points off the nearest safety position with 2 games to play. Benfica B have won the last 2 meetings, 3-0 and 2-1, while winning 3 of their last 5 games away from home. Maritimo B have lost 4 of the last 5 overall, and have not won at home in 10 games (D4/L6).
As a double – this pays around 4.5/1 – and to me the only two bits of value.
Best of luck!
