We are back! Finally…
Massive problems with our site lead to us having to completely rebuild it, so although it looks the same – it’s taken several days and many a dollar to fix. Anyway – onto the important bit – the tips…
Today we have four Champions League games – unlike yesterday’s stuff posted on Twitter I am avoiding corners for a while now:
1. Chelsea Over 2.5 Team Goals @ 1/1 vs Tel Aviv (NAP)
Chelsea have a huge point to prove and Jose knows this. I think he will put out a near-full strength side, so with the likes of Hazard and Pedro running riot with Costa up front I think they will demolish a decent Tel Aviv side who beat Basel and Plzen on the way to the groups. It’s a nice and easy group for the Premier League champs (or Chumps at the moment) – but the side they are playing regularly concede 2’s and 3’s to their league opponents who are not quite on Chelsea’s level, no matter how poor they are!
2. Arsenal -1 Goal Handicap @ 5/4 vs Dinamo Zagreb
Zagreb are unbeaten this year, at home at least. They do however concede a lot of sloppy goals – 3 to Molde when leading 3-0, for example. They also let one in against Fola, a very average side from god knows where. Arsenal’s pace and passing should cause them a lot of problems tonight – Ox and Walcott should both start, the latter possibly up front. A win to nil, by 2/3 goals is my prediction.
3. Bayern Munich -1 Goal Handicap @ 6/5 vs Olympiakos
Looking in from the outside, it looks like Olympiakos have a very good team – but look closer and it’s mainly failed players from across Europe. Brown Ideye, Alfred Finnbogason, Manu da Costa, Diego Fuster etc. Bayern should pass them off the pitch and win quite easily with what can only be described as a world class outfit. Olympiakos caused a few shocks last season but I cannot see it happening again
4. Valencia-Zenit Over 2.5 Goals @ 1/1
Zenit have lost Salomon Rondon, but despite this have a very good offensive team. Hulk, Dzyuba and Danny spearhead this and on their day they can score a hatful! Over 2.5 goals has landed in 7 of their last 10 games. Valencia also have a very strong team! A front 6 of Perez, Parejo, Fuego, Piatti, Negredo and Feghouli with the likes of Paco, Bakkali and Rodrigo de Paul to come on. They have won 7 of their last 10 home games, scoring over 3 themselves on a number of occasions. Zenit are a rather hot-headed team, so a red card could be a good shout in this game.
This pays around 20/1 as an Accumulator – any doubles or trebles from this would be a good call, but my favourite has to be a 1 + 4 double @ 3/1.
Best of luck, and again apologies for the lack of content – it really was beyond us at stages with the editing side of things being completely inaccessible.
