Good morning all!
It’s been a while since our last set of tips – a good 10 days or so and I apologise for the absence. With a promotion at work, my weeks have been full of late hours and a lot of travelling so I have found little to no time to even watch football, yet alone sit down and do some research!
I have picked out four games this weekend – 3 today and 1 tomorrow, odds of at least 1/1 and going back to my old method of a small writeup under each selection.
Two games in England today, one in Hungary and the final in the Eredivisie tomorrow afternoon:
Crewe vs Luton: Luton -1 Goal Handicap @ 13/8 (1500 KO, Saturday – League One)
Luton are top of the pile, and after a wobble a few weeks back have recovered well. They are in very good form and are scoring for fun, whilst Crewe have lost 4 of their last 5 games and seem to be struggling. Luton’s away form isn’t the best – but given their overall form of 7 wins in their last 10 and 28 goals scored – teamed with Crewe’s weaknesses – I feel its a good bet.
Wolves vs Bolton: Wolves Over 2.5 Team Goals @ 11/8 (1500 KO, Saturday – Championship)
Wolves are another side top of the league – and with home form that reads 7 wins from 9 and 19 goals scored – including 5 in a row, and over 2.5 in 3 of their last 6 – adding to the fact that Bolton sit bottom of the league and are very much in trouble. Diogo Jota, Ivan Cavaliero and Leo Bonatini are all in great form, and Bolton’s defensive woe’s – it’s a good bet for me!
Haladas vs Ferencvaros: Ferencvaros Win + Over 2.5 Goals @ 7/4 (1830 KO, Saturday – Hungarian OTP Liga)
This looks a good one! Ferencvaros are 2nd in the league and in good form – scoring over 30 goals in 16 games, conceding 12. Haladas have lost 11/16 and conceded over 30, so this is one that could easily be 3-0 to Ferencvaros, however they have won a mix of previous games 2-0, 3-1 etc and with their back four not being amazing, there is plenty of scope!
Excelsior vs PSV: PSV Over 2.5 Team Goals @ 11/10 (1330 KO, Sunday – Eredivisie)
Excelsior aren’t a bad team – they sit mid table, having only conceded 17 goals in over a dozen games. PSV however are romping away at the top of the table, with Hirving Lozano on fire in his first season in Europe, Jurgen Locadia in great form and Steve Berghuis scoring 7 goals and providing plenty more. It’s one of those games where the stats for the home side are irrelevant, as PSV are that much better than everyone else that whats gone before is moot.
This bet pays around 35/1.
Best of luck
