After a disappointing international break, where in our two sets of tips Sweden lost 3-2 to Bulgaria and Israel lost to Macedonia…we return to domestic football.
The first weekend back after a break I often find you get some upsets – but I’ve picked out 4 games around the Evens-6/4 range that I think look very good bets.
For today, all in England, and bar the first game, all 3pm kick offs.
In total, 30/1 – here’s what we have:
Stoke vs Man Utd: Man Utd -1 Goal Handicap @ 7/5
Leeds vs Burton: Leeds -1 Goal Handicap @ 6/4
Hartlepool vs Dag & Red: Dag & Red Win @ 5/4
Everton vs Spurs: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 11/8
Fairly simple reasoning for all of these really – Man Utd and Leeds are both in good form, with United being top of the league and yet to concede, while Leeds are 3rd having won 3 and drawn 2. Both have the firepower to blow these opponents away, and I think should both win 2/3-0.
Dag & Red have started brightly, unbeaten in 8 with 4 wins and draws apiece. They have scored 19 goals, and face a Hartlepool side in the bottom 6 having lost half of their games.
Lastly, Everton and Spurs should be a very good game – Spurs possibly the better side given their form over the past 2-3 seasons, but given the investment at Everton over the summer and the distinct lack of it at Spurs, and with the game being at Goodison, it should be fairly even – especially given Spurs could be without the likes of Trippier, Wanyama and Rose.
Best of luck for today!
