With work once again taking up much of my midweek – including several 6am starts, there was nothing posted midweek. Last weekend, very little luck – Brugge going 2-0 down to the worst team in the league inside 8 minutes, Ajax blowing a 2 goal lead against a team that had lost 10/13 and Young Boys losing, failing to score 2 for the first time in a while!
I’m avoiding the foreign action in this accumulator this weekend – and have picked out 6 Over 2.5 Goals matches in the 3pm games on Saturday. All games have good records, and the teams involved all have previous.
This pays around 25/1, and as mentioned covers the 3pm games in the Championship, League One and League Two – two games in each.
Here are my 6 picks:
Hull vs Brentford: Over 2.5 Goals @ 4/7 (Championship, 3pm KO)
Wolves vs Sunderland: Over 2.5 Goals @ 4/5 (Championship, 3pm KO)
Bristol Rovers vs Southend: Over 2.5 Goals @ 4/5 (League One, 3pm KO)
Peterborough vs Blackburn: Over 2.5 Goals @ 4/5 (League One, 3pm KO)
Luton vs Notts County: Over 2.5 Goals @ 7/10 (League Two, 3pm KO)
Stevenage vs Wycombe: Over 2.5 Goals @ 8/11 (League Two, 1500 KO)
Hull and Brentford are two of the highest scoring and conceding teams in the league! Hull have scored 34 and conceded 37 – whilst Wolves have a great home record, scoring three or more on multiple occasions, playing Sunderland who have a 60% away record for over 2.5 goals, and especially conceding them!
Into League One – Bristol Rovers have an 80% record of Over 2.5 Goals at home, and are playing Southend, whom have a 60% away record for Over 2.5 Goals in their 10 games. Peterborough play Blackburn in the other – the home team scoring 31 and conceding 29 in 19 games thus far, whilst Blackburn have 5 Over 2.5’s in a row! Both are in form, so it should be a cracker!
Lastly, League Two – first off, Luton at home to Notts County – 1st vs 2nd, and the home side having scored more goals than Man City – and as many as 7 or 8 in one game, and with an 80% home record of over 2.5 goals…there’s a good chance. Wycombe have best record in the league – 15/20 over 2.5’s! Stevenage have a 60% record at home as well, and with them being a tough side, it should make for an interesting game.
Best of luck
