After a quiet period with little football on, we had a good return yesterday with both games landing around the 60 minute mark. Bourg Peronnas exploded to life and score four second half goals for Over 1.5 TG’s to win @ 1/1, while in the National game, Orleans and Avranches gave a thriller and it ended 3-2 to the latter, over 2.5 the tip @ 27/20. 4/1 in total.
Rather than separate everything, I will throw the 2nd two games for tomorrow into this one to show the full accumulator, as I have already posted an FA Cup piece. This weekend is rather bare without the FA Cup, but there is good action in both Portugal and Spain – two in each over the two days make a nice sized acca:
Portimonense vs Porto B: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 13/10 (Portuguese Segunda, 2030 KO)
This should be a good game! Porto have the best home and away form in the league, but away from home are a little more suspect at the back, as two recent defeats have shown. Portimonense are a solid team, and with Porto’s poor record for conceding goals in blocks will sniff a chance of a win, with them being surprising favourites at 5/4. Porto score a lot of goals, but equally concede plenty too. The last time I backed them in this bet, they won 4-0 at home and then won 3-0 away – so their attacking strength is there to be seen. This ended 2-1 last time, and I’m 80% sure it will end in a similar fashion.
Numancia vs Alaves: BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals @ 8/5 (Spanish Segunda, 1915 KO)
Here you have two teams who score plenty of goals, with Alaves sitting top of the league and Numancia mid-table.
The latter have scored and conceded in 9 of their last 10 games, with 6 BTTS + Over 2.5’s in their last 7 games, with the last four being 2-1, 3-1, 3-2 and 2-2. In 10 home games, 5 in 10 is their record, with 3 in their last 3. Scoring is not an issue, just conceding!
Alaves as mentioned are top, but away from home are anything but consistent. 6 wins and 5 losses (6 & 4 excluding the Copa del Rey) with 3 BTTS + Over 2.5’s. Not the best record but given Numancia’s ability to score and concede in equal strength, I think both will score and one will go onto win
In the Saturday double, this adds up to a 5/1 double. Add in the following which will be Sunday’s tips:
Feirense vs Sporting Lisbon B: Feirense Win @ 23/20 (Portuguese Segunda, 1115 KO)
Up until recently, Lisbon B had the best away record in the league, but four losses in their last 5 games away from home means they sit about 6th in the form table. Defensively found out in my opinion. They play the 2nd best home team in the league who are looking strongly at promotion (as B teams can’t get promoted it doesn’t matter where Porto B, Benfica B, Lisbon B or Braga B finish). Feirense have won 7 of 12 at home, including 4 in their last 5. Strong at the back, and get the goals needed going forward. A team I have backed numerous times before – and at over Evs, a fab price!
Cordoba vs Mallorca: Cordoba Win @ 21/20 (Spanish Segunda, 1815 KO)
I will keep this one simple.
Cordoba – best home team in the league with 7 wins in 10 games. 15 scored, 9 conceded. Very boring but usually win 1/2-0
Mallorca – winless on the road with 4 draws and 6 losses. Scored 7, conceded 15. Often lose to nil, or if draw, 0-0.
A close game is my prediction, with a 1-0 or 2-0 scoreline expected.
In total, this accumulator pays 25/1!
Best of luck
