Football Tips: Weekend Acca // Over 2.5 Goals // 05.05.18

358

For the first time in a little while there was no midweek bet from us – very little on bar the European games, and with the value for any goals market being so low – I really felt there was no point.

The weekend looks much better however – little bit of difficulty with picking out games as certain leagues are winding down, and in the EFL its the last game of the season.

With that, I have mainly picked European games – actually the highest priced Acca we have done for the Over 2.5’s so far! With the earliest game off at 2pm in Italy, it’s a bit later than planned but hey ho!

Here’s my 6 games:

Watford vs Newcastle: Over 2.5 Goals @ 43/40 (PL, 1500 KO)

Watford’s season has fallen off the tracks a bit of late, but they still have one of the best goals per game ratios at home. Newcastle on the other hand are pretty safe right now, and have disappointed since with two 1-0 losses. However, with a bit of freedom for both sides we could see an entertaining game. Last two results have been 3-0 and 2-1 to Watford.

Ternana vs Palermo: Over 2.5 Goals @ 21/20 (Serie B, 1400 KO)

Ternana have one of the best records in the league with a 25-16 record overall and 4 in their last 5, whilst Palermo have a 10-9 away record and 4 in their last 5. One is striving for promotion, the other struggling to survive relegation. Plenty to play for.

Videoton vs Ferencvaros: Over 2.5 Goals @ 17/20 (NB1, 1830 KO)

The Hungarian league has struck me this season as one with a lot of goals! The worst record in the league is Debrecen, who have a 14-14 record. With these two though, its a case of the best two sides in the league and normally there is goals. The last three meets have ended 4-1, 3-1 and 3-1.

Slavia Prague vs Plzen: Over 2.5 Goals @ 23/20 (1st League, 1730 KO)

Another meet of the league’s top two, but this time the league in general is pretty bad for goals. Both of these sides have decent records, but luckily Slavia are miles better at home – scoring as many as 5 per game and at least 2 normally, while Plzen are rocky on the road and have lost 5-2 to Bohemians lately, who are a lower-midtable side. They also lost 3-1 to a similar team and with them being 9 points clear, Slavia could take advantage of their slack nature.

Rudes vs Hadjuk Split: Over 2.5 Goals @ 4/5 (HNL, 1600 KO – Sunday)

Rudes have been very good of late – winning 4 of their last 5 games, including a 4-2 win over Rijeka. 7-8 record overall in terms of this market, but 4 in their last 5 and playing a Hadjuk side that either score five or leak three. They have an 11-4 record away and what I said before about them stands true to be fair. They either win 5-2 or draw 3-3 it seems…

Dijon vs Guimgamp: Over 2.5 Goals @ 4/6 (Ligue 1, 1600 KO – Sunday)

This has some great stats! Dijon have a 25-10 record overall, and 11-6 at home. Guingamp’s record isn’t so hot, 18-17 overall and 9-8 away – but have had 3 or more goals in 8 of their last 10 games and beat Monaco, and were 2-0 up against PSG the other week. Two shocking defences with decent attackers is my assessment!

This pays 53/1 on Bet365.

Best of luck
