With the football nicely spread over the next couple of days – this is an overall bet covering both, with two bets today and two for tomorrow – all handicaps, all four teams at home and expected to win.

The overall price for the bet is around the 50/1 mark:

Brighton vs Cardiff: Brighton -1 Goal Handicap @ 11/8 (1945 KO, Friday – Championship)

Brighton are the form side of the Championship – toppling Newcastle to reach the top spot, and seemingly destined for the Premier League after two seasons of disappointment. They are in fine form, four wins in a row and rarely challenged at home. Cardiff on the other hand are a decent side, but away from home concede far too many. Even with a decent scoring record, they are unlikely to challenge Brighton’s back four and all I can see is a 2/3-0 loss.

Rochdale vs Shrewsbury: Rochdale -1 Goal Handicap @ 8/5 (1945 KO, Friday – League One)

Similarly to Brighton, Rochdale are one of the sides of League One in the best form. 9 wins in 12 at home – those 9 coming in a row! They have scored a lot of goals – regularly battering teams 4-0. Shrewsbury, well the less said the better. Sitting in the bottom four, 7 losses in 12 away and of late even worse. 8/5 is a very good price!

Derby vs Wigan: Derby -1 Goal Handicap @ 8/5 (1500 KO, Saturday – Championship)

Another side in fine form – Derby go into their match with Wigan on the back of a 9 game unbeaten spell, including 5 home wins in a row, and 8 wins and a draw since losing to Huddersfield a few months ago. Not the highest scorers, but against Wigan – who have lost 5 in a row, and 7 in their last 10 away – they should find goals a little easier to come by.

P’borough vs Coventry: P’borough -1 Goal Handicap @ 2/1 (1500 KO, Saturday – League One)

Peterborough are quite an unpredictable side – high scoring, but concede nearly as many! They have plenty of match winners – Marcus Maddison chief among which – but as mentioned, brilliant one match, useless the next. They face 2nd bottom of the table Coventry, who have lost 8 in a row in the league, conceding plenty. Peterborough themselves have won 7 of their last 10, with multiple handicap winning bets, especially at home. 2/1 seems a very high price, but reflects their inconsistency.

Best of luck!
