After a 4 month break in the international scene – it returns with the 5th round of qualifying in the European zone. As usual there is little value anywhere but the handicap markets, with Germany, France, England and Holland all very good value at various handicaps.
Here are my 6 picks for the overall weekend’s worth of games – making a 20/1 accumulator:
Georgia vs Serbia: Serbia Win @ 8/11 (1700 KO, Group D)
Georgia can often be a hard nut to crack – Scotland have had issues…though Scotland are pretty average themselves. Serbia have an ultra talented side and much like Austria haven’t quite lived up to the hype around many of their players. I think they will get past Georgia.
Austria vs Moldova: Austria -1 Goal Handicap @ 4/6 (1945 KO, Group D)
Austria are a highly rated side that have failed to live up to the tag many put on them. Against a very average Moldova side, they should have an easy win to nil and by a couple of goals.
Bulgaria vs Holland: Holland Win @ 4/7 (1945 KO, Group A)
Holland are going through a transitional period – but still have more than enough to get past Bulgaria. This one will feature in my value picks.
Luxembourg vs France: France -2 Goal Handicap @ 4/5 (1945 KO, Group A)
France take on a very poor Luxembourg side – and in all reality they should put 3-5 past them with such a good side out.
Azerbaijan vs Germany: Germany -2 Goal Handicap @ 8/11 (1700 KO, Group C)
The same as above – Germany take on an average opponent – Azerbaijan are no pushovers, but they will struggle to contain a free-flowing passing German side.
England vs Lithuania: England Win to Nil @ 8/15 (1700 KO, Group E)
England face an opposition they faced twice in Euro 2016 Qualification – and one they beat 3-0 and 4-0. Despite Calamity Stones starting, I think England will ease past Lithuania.
This an a 6-fold pays between 35/1 and 40/1 depending on who you back with. I have priced it up with Bet365 as they have everything on tap – so that’s probably the best place to go!
Best of luck!
