I have finally had time to have a look through our month in numbers – just for my tips as Jamie is doing his own. Despite not looking a great month, figures were at the low end of our usual percentages (62% win ratio) and there were several winners over 10/1, as well as a 75% success rate on our BTTS picks!
Winners – 4/1 (Double), 5.5/1 (4 Fold), 8.5/1 (BTTS 4 Fold), 16.5/1 (4 Fold), 20/1 (4 Fold).
BTTS Picks – 27/36 (75%)
Overall Picks – 82/134 (62%)
Preview Picks – 22/49 (47%)
The Preview’s have been annoyingly disappointing last month. Bar the 9/10 early on in the month, and all picks being backed up by solid stats – teams just did not perform. I picked 5 below Evens (but above 1/2) and 5 over Evens (probably a max of 2/1). Of the 53% of non-winners, a good 35% were draws. It was a great deal of bad luck in one short period.
On the BTTS side, I thought it a good idea to separate just to see exactly how I was doing on this front – it is worth noting nothing under about 4/6 is picked, and usually between 4/5 and 11/10 (Anything Evens or above is amazing value in BTTS bets). Another thing to think about is that 8 Accumulator tips over 15/1 were just one game off – a lot of close calls, with three of them being just a goal away!
We have started March well with a 25/1 + 3.8/1 winners Friday night – so hopefully this time next month we will have a lot more too!
Jamie’s Review should be up in the next 36 hours or so, but he also had a top month with a hell of a lot of winners…
The art of Accumulators can often be frustrating – and finding value is something I like to do rather than tip the obvious. We may not get a tonne of wins, we are usually on the money but have a little bad luck most of the time – for example this last month we have averaged 1.5 red cards per tip! On several occasions we had a red card per game in some tips…
Best of luck for tonight – and later Cheltenham Day 1 Tips should be up from James, the master of Cheltenham! He is very excited about the next 4 days, as am I!
